That was good for a belly laugh.
I was watching the handler try and manage the beast as it kept stepping around and around on the end of it's tether--the reins--first so an 8 year old little daughter of a friend of mine could get on . . . and then so she could get off. I think I saw every side and part of the camel in that agitated prancing around episode.
My take was that the camel was being nice because it was a little girl. And if that was being nice, I didn't want to see the other options.

Send me a pair, too, please.
Those who love to scream about the tin-foil hat stuff and stuff accused of being tin-foil hat . . . get annoying at times.

In the skies today we saw destruction and tragedy. Yet farther than we can see, there is comfort and hope. In the words of the prophet Isaiah, "Lift your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry hosts one by one and calls them each by name. Because of His great power, and mighty strength, not one of them is missing."
The same Creator who names the stars also knows the names of the seven souls we mourn today. The crew of the shuttle Columbia did not return safely to Earth; yet we can pray that all are safely home.

Tin-foil hats...
Silver gets much better reception and is much more stylish. Also a good lead-in to the "Return to the Gold and Silver Standard" threads I find myself wrapped up in.
To: lonevoice
I remember that. That was very nice.
To: Cacophonous
Cute.
I think I'm going to bed.
Take my hole where my molar was and baby it to sleep, I hope!
Blessings, cheers, Thanks.

LOL, I only have two pairs and I already promised Cacophonous my back-up NOMEX Coveralls. I might need mine, especially considering I have already stated that I understand and agree with Cacophonous about the way that quote was phrased.
If I'm not torched in the next few moments, I'll send you mine, but keep in mind, mine are quite charred and covered with soot :-)

I prefer the extra thick outdoor barbeque grille proof Reynolds Aluminum Foil myself. Much better reception during Thunderstorms, Lunar Eclipse's and those wicked Solar Flares :-)

Good one! I had forgotten about that one.
Then, there's that whole "dead or alive" thing...
Doesn't all of that grit and determination just warm your heart?

"I spent an amazing couple of hours with Dennis Miller," Bush said during his Los Angeles speech after Miller's routine. "He keeps you on your toes."
He added: "I was also honored to meet his wife, Carolyn. Like me, he married above himself. It may not be all that hard, in his case. But I'm proud to have his help."

LMAO - He said that yesterday at the Press Conf., no? When some moron asked him about his re-election campaign.
When he's giving speeches, I often wonder if he reads them first. But his off the cuff comments reveal his wit and fierce determination.
On another note - have you heard about the Bush drinking game? Then next time you hear him speak, you have to take a shot every time he says the words regime, evil, and Uh-mur-ikuh . Love that Texas drawl, dub-ya!!!

Yes, some moron asked him how he could spend $15 million in his campaign. Before the pressitute finished the question, Dubya said, "Just watch me!" LOL!
I'll take ya' up on that game if we substitute Diet Coke.
Whut drawl, y'all? He tawkin' jes fine to me.
