Republican Rep. George Nethercutt, who in 1994 toppled U.S. House Speaker Tom Foley, said today he would challenge Democrat incumbent Patty "Osama Mama" Murray for the Senate in 2004.

Murray is infamous for her praise of mass-murdering terrorist Osama bin Laden, who in her sick fantasy world built "day-care centers" for those liberated career gals of Afghanistan, which "we haven't done."

He will have a tough fight but he’s up to it. After all he unseated Folly. The problem is that he currently represents Eastern Washington which (like the rest of the country once you go 50 miles inland) is conservative. Western Washington is where the power and votes are. They tend to elect people like Baghdad Bob McDermit.

George is a scraper and has a real chance if Washingtonians will get off their duff and support him $$$$$$$, he will win.
