That's a BIG kitchen -- plus the pantry, breakfast nook, dining room, and outdoor grilling and wood-fired oven (for artisan breads) area. OH! and probably an atrium, too. Must have a room for that indoor herb garden. Then there's the greenhouses, surrounding the enclosed pool, which not only is a place for joint-friendly exercise for the weary cook, but is also a practical addition to add humidity to the greenhouses....
You realize that this is all still in the planning stages, so this picture doesn't reflect the actual colors I plan to have in place, but here's something from my ideas notebook:
I lean towards blues and a country-modern look, so I'm not yet sure if the design will encorporate stainless steel or not, but I like the practicality of this steam oven with its own water reservoir and plate-warming drawer:
Then, of course, there are the decisions regarding everyday stainless flatware and the design of the sterling for formal occasions. Just thinking about china patterns has me feeling like a new bride! ;)
So many design plans decisions and purchase orders to prepare; so little time!
Now that is SOME kitchen! Seems like working in it would require roller skates to get around.

OK, that's it! A triple post in my sleep. I'm off to bed. Thanks, Fawnn, for helping entertain our troops. Keep working on that kitchen.
