WASHINGTON -- Call it the latest salvo in the SUV wars. The Sierra Club calls it "Hummerdinger."
On a new Web site, www.hummerdinger.com, the California-based environmental group attacks the Hummer H2 -- one of the stars in General Motor Corp.'s portfolio of sport utility vehicles -- as a backward-looking behemoth.

The liberals are unsettled by the H2 huh? Time for SUV owners to blockade Sierra Club's headquarters with a fleet of them and then see how the enviro wackos will fire back.

I must confess that I get a kick out of watching the Hummer in our garage get stuck trying to get on the upper levels, which he knows damn well he won't fit into. Scrapes the whole top of the vehicle.

New possible GM ad slogan. "There's nothing like a Hummer"

We here in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area have to deal with PETA HQ being within just a few miles of NAS Norfolk. Every year the local FM radio station WNOR holds a 'PETA Fishing Tournament' on the banks of the Elizabeth River, within sight of their ugly ass building. Draws quite a crowd.

This is about economic class warfare. If these loons could afford H2s, they'd be buying, not protesting.

hehehe.... it puts one up PETA's nose!

"Hummerdinger", "Ford Valdez". Them Sierra Clubbers have quite the rapier wit. not.
To: Beelzebubba
Yeah really. Rich liberals like Arianna Huffington can well afford a $53,000 H2. Arnold has one.

These idiots think they know every thing. Now
they're telling auto manufacturers their business.
Thereis nothing as efficient as a diesel SUV. Diesel
is the wave of the immediate future!
To: mhking
The Sierra Club are typical left-wing hypocrites. The former president or director of the Sierra Club had his home built by old-growth trees that the group wanted protection from logging.
To: Bluntpoint
These things should be sold with the tailpipe in the front. That way, the driver gets to enjoy what the rest of us get.
