The grabbers claim it's to lower crime, but there's plenty of info that indicates that when law-abiding citizens are disarmed crime, violent crime, skyrockets. England, Australia, Washington DC are all very good examples of this.

It seems to me that liberals like to hide their head in the sand. They don't want to know the truth. I was debating gun control with a liberal friend. I reminded her of how the SCOTUS decided that the police were not responsible for our individual safety, that our safety was our own responsibility . To that she said, "Stop depressing me." The conversation ended there.

So the libs really don't want to be FREE, they want to be SAFE. Freedom does not mean being safe and Freedom's currency is blood.

Man those are powerful words. Count on me using them as soon as school starts with both the kids and my fellow teachers who thermselves are mindless liberals.....not stupid, mind you, but "mindless" to the realities of the costs of freedom.

I know the consequences and the line of thought.

However, the fact remains that it is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to convince the average USA-dweller that the Gummint (at any level) is going to pull off a massive gun-grab FOR THE PURPOSES of maintaining control.

Look at the pictures of GWBush. Would HE do that?
