(2003-07-26) -- Several so-called "webloggers" announced today that they would begin ridiculing presidential candidate Howard Dean on their so-called "blogs" in order to increase site traffic.
The announcements came after a Washington Post story said supporters of Gov. Dean's presidential bid are using email to deluge reporters who write negative things about their candidate.
"My sitemeter's been languishing around 25 visitors per day," said one unnamed blogger. "I figure if I can tick off Dean's backers I could get that up to 50 or even 75."
Editor's Note: The vast editorial staff at ScrappleFace will never resort to attacking the anti-American leftist wacko Governor of Vermont in order to increase visitors to this site.

Here's a quick way to get rich. Put up a site that bashes Dean. Wait a day for the hate mail to come in. Then aggregate all the e-mail addresses. A few days later, with a different alias, e-mail all those people urging them to donate now in order to influence the 2004 election- talk about Dean profusely. Then, take the money and give it to one of these psuedo-PACS that are forming to bypass the McCain-Feingold law legally to fund Bush's election using issue ads. This is all completely legal. You never said in your e-mail you were going to give the money to Dean.

Since the world community seems unable to reach an agreement for a clear definition of the term "terrorist", it's impossible for media to use the term. Therefore Bin Laden is unfortunately called an "alleged" terrorist by Reuters and various other respected news agencies.
I don't see this as anti-American. If Bin Laden was called an alleged freedomfighter, then it would be anti-American.

Why did you post this on this thread, as opposed to the one discussing Reuters?
