If Con Coughlin knows Saddam is tired & lonely, why doesn't he tell us where Saddam is?

"This just in. Ms. Couric --speaking for NBC-- said,
"Hopefully Saddam will flee and escape to Syria".

I bet Saddam does have long grey hair and beard. Not from any desire to "go native" either. LOL

Yeah, I wondered about that myself.
"...another tape will most likely make an appearance this week."
Does the author of this piece know this for a fact or is he just wishing and hoping it will be the case?

State Department officials confirmed that the informant who provided US troops with the tip-off that led them to Uday and Qusay would receive the maximum $30 million reward And I hope we make a huge deal out of the presentation of that $30M so that ordinary Iraqis can see we stand by our word.

One cannot even compare Saddam to Vlad the Impaler aka Count Dracula
The least of the torturers of Saddams kingdom would have been equal the Count
Yet Dracula lives on as the paragon of evil...
Perhaps it is because Saddam is not all that unusual a dictator in Islamic circles..
yet the vast majority of Saddams tortured and raped victims were fellow Muslims
And the American left...feel sympathy for the devil...not too surprising all things considered
National Socialists International Socialists Islamo-facists Rifkinites and the Third Wayers ultimately all worship the same god
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is their enemy...and they are His...
They will all break themselves on the Rock- Christ Jesus and His city Jerusalem...

I didn't know that Saddam had another son named Ali. Only 16 - wonder if we need to kill him too.

I find it difficult to have much respect for an Iraqi "society" -- that provides assistance to their "liberators" only upon the opportunity to make millions....
We position Americans in front of the Hospitals and Schools to protect THEIR children --- and the Americans are attacked and killed.
How do the killers escape the scenes, without witnesses to the event?
I am coming to the conclusion, that we have liberated a "society" that is undeserving and unappreciative of the gift....
You hear almost NOTHING about "good" Iraqis killing "bad" Iraqis...
For certain -- some Iraqi citizens know where the bastards are - and could get killing access to them - if they had the will.
Is it against their cult "religion" to kill their own enemies if they happen to be Arabs?

Yes you must think it is much harder to kill people in Iraq than it was for Malvo and Muhammad to kill people in the Washington D.C. area just a year ago. And certainly if you believe that Iraqi citizens approve of the killing of Americans , then the D.C. sniper killings must have proved to you that most people in Washington D.C wanted the snipers to kill Americans in the D.C area too.
If there have been 50 Malvo's and Muhammads how many Americans could they have killed? And if there are 50 pairs of killers In Iraq why are not 60 to 100 Americans a week killed in Iraq? If there are a thousand killers in Iraq in a nation fo 25 million Muslims why are not 1,000 of our people killed every week?

Some Jews in concentration camps agreed to be Capos (or is it Kapos?) collaborating with the Nazis - but that does not indict the entire Jewish people.
Now in Iraq, over the course of 30 years some younger people have turned into freakazoids working for Saddam. But that does not indict the entire Iraqi people. Also - remember that some of the people taking shots at Americans are not Iraq - they are jihadists from Iran, Syria, etc.

Excellent response!!!
Also, we need to remember that these people have lived in a fear that we cannot even imagine. You don't turn off the effects of that with a switch .... it has become a way of life. Their full understanding of their liberty from this cruel regime will take time to sink in ... and to reflect in their actions.
The Saddam regime controlled this country for 30 years. For most Iraqis, that's a considerable amount of their lives, if not their entire lives. And they have known only fear and horror and reprisal for the slightest perception of disloyalty to Saddam.

"Is it against their cult "religion" to kill their own enemies if they happen to be Arabs? " In a word, yes!
There will never be a time when an infidel is more important than a Muslim, no matter what each has done.
We must always remember that when we're reveling in the sense of accomplishment for having freed these people from the tyrant.

I think you're assuming that Iraq contains only Islamofreaks. There are a few Islamofreaks in Iraq; there are also a geater number of religious moderates, and there are Christians too. They are not radicalized, like the Palistinians for example; they are oppressed - and they are just now enjoying a taste of liberty.
So ease up on the snap judgments - and also remember that less Americans get killed in Baghdad that in Washington D.C. - but we don't condemn all residents of DC.
