Linux sucks! It is of Euro-origin.
*BSD, while of Berkeley origin, at least is American-origin!

FYI, Linux is far better than Bill Gates' Window. Window has too many bugs and I am sick of Bill Gates inflects my computer. Did you know Freerepublic uses Linux?

The continued adoption of Linux by large enterprise in the face of SCO's legal threats is not surprising, said Yankee Group analyst Laura DiDio. "I don't think many of them thought of it as a big threat, I think they viewed it as a mosquito at a picnic -- a sort of gnat buzzing around."
Yup... sums it up nicely.

Which flavor of linux do you think is the best?

Linux sucks! It is of Euro-origin. Right. Almost forgot that all things of Euro-origin are bad, very bad, very very way bad.
Not too familiar with Winders, are ya?
Now if I remember right, Mom's lineage is in Ireland and Dad's is from Germany.
Big sigh. I'm so bad!

I must admit I'm generally dismayed with American software, many developers here suffer from bloatware syndrome and put eye-candy over usability.
Email is particularly frustrating, I now use TheBat, which is a neat little program from an independent eastern european developer. No extra eye-candy, pure work-horse email program, not prone to virus. American products simply can't compete.

American products simply can't compete. Can't compare maybe....but can't compete?
Tell that to Microsoft.

Usability wise, they can't compete. Those eastern european developers usually have a small but extremely royal customer base. If only 1/3 of this world's better informed technologically, Microsoft garbage should have been thrown out of windows long time ago.

Yep. That's why Linus Torvalds moved over to the US. So it's no longer a Euro-origin, and hasn't been since kernel 1.2 or so. . .a decade ago.

Very disturbing that our White House is in any way affiliated with the 'official software of the PRC' known as Red Flag Linux. But I know I guess they are now both using a derivative of the same exact freely available source code.

Funny that you mention the virus. Windows isn't prone to viruses, stupid users are.

Let's face it, you just made a moronic statement.

FYI, Linux is far better than Bill Gates' Window. That must be why Linux has so much money and is so widely used.
Oh, wait.....it's "free" .

Funny that you mention the virus. Windows isn't prone to viruses, stupid users are. What about the MS Outlook based viruses that rely on the default settings of the program, set at installation time?
Ford Pintos aren't prone to exploding, it's the fault of the stupid drivers, right?

What the heck is this about? I thought the big plus with Linux was that it was a completely free and open system that anyone could use and thus be "free" of the tyranny of Microsoft.
Who is this SCO and what is their deal?
Can someone give me a brief synopis of this beef?
