[history]
July 25, 2003 -- Months before she overdosed on medication in her parents' home, Kobe Bryant's young accuser reportedly overdosed in her college dorm, it was revealed yesterday.
News of yet another hospitalization could help Bryant's defense team cast doubt on the 19-year-old woman's credibility.

If someone famous runs a red light and smashes into your car late at night and you sue for damages, is it relevant whether or not you have a dozen unpaid parking tickets?I don't follow your analogy. However, if the accuser in this case has the irrefutable physical evidence equivalent to a smashed up car, then it's a slam dunk for the prosecution. But the physical evidence in this case remains to be seen. So I'll withhold judgement for now.

Good thing you've constructed an airtight case with evidence, both direct and circumstantial. I mean, I am literally stunned by your presentation here. How could anyone respond but with credulity to what you've shown us here thus far?!

You should address your complaints about post 9 to the author of post 9. Two wrongs don't make a right. My intention was not to accuse you of anything or to complain about #9, rather to point out that this seems to be cutting both ways.

Thanks. OJ was innocent too.

The Kennedy Smith jury knew he was guilty too. Celebrity won out. Further, one of the jurors was already sexually involved with Smith's attorney. He soon divorced his wife and married the juror.....and grew a pony tail too!!!
This is a clear violation of the law and ought to have resulted in the loss of law license of the lawyer, but the Kennedy power help protect him.

No, but her instability undermines her credibility if there is not other damning evidence.
Now, there MAY BE that evidence, in which case it shouldn't matter. But looking at the article I posted above, should give you pause when assuming guilt of an accused party in a rape case.

Agreed, which is why any negatives about the possible rape victim should be balanced with the evidence that will be presented by those in authority who are pursuing charges. Instead, we have gleeful trashing of this woman based on media reports that are often conflicting and spotty. And this without knowing any of the evidence which may implicate the accused.
To: kattracks
This girl could have the terrible misfortune of having to deal with depression, etc., and then was brutally raped. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt.
To: StolarStorm
No he wasn't, but your conspiracy is about as elaborate, moreso actually.

If a person is emotionally unstable then the rapist is to go free??????????????????If an emotionally unstable person makes an unfounded claim of rape after having consensual sex with someone then that someone should spend the next 20 years in jail??????????????????
To: ValerieUSA
Let's say the girl is a true mental case -- why is a married "family man" introducing her into his life with something he calls a consensual sexual encounter? Does he give no thought whatsoever to his selfish actions and the possible consequences?
How is he supposed to know she's unstable? Suicide attempts aren't exactly a viable conversation topic if one is looking for a quickie.

He was acquited wasn't he? He must have been innocent. His celebrity, money, and the racial bias of the jury had nothing to do with it. Poor little Kobe. At least he was smart enough to rape a white girl. If the accuser was black, he wouldn't have all the support he's getting from the community. Open season on white people in America.
To: PBRSTREETGANG
If a person claims to be raped, the public should decide and there should be no trial.
