Yea, we can do better. Jim Robinson for gov!

Good thinking... Maybe he can get an extra 20% of votes automagically since he's disabled! They seem to go for that sort of thing in Cali.

I believe in California its "differently enabled" or "handi-capable".

Any Republican Gov will produce gridlock in CA. Savage should be smart enough to know that any Republican elected to CA Governor will get no help from the legislature and all the blame from the liberal media...He will be a one-termer if he isn't recalled BEFORE his term is up. The Terminator is smart enough not to want the job. What is Savage's defect?

Savage is exactly what California needs. He may not keep the Governor's mansion long, but I'm sure he would do some serious damage to the leftist cause (by merely gridlocking in a beautiful way, and he would not be afraid to seal the border.

GO, SAVAGE!

If he runs he'd have to give up his radio show. No way in hell. This rumor is a stunt.

It is not Michael's personality that is important, it is what he will bring to the discussion table. If enough people get behind Mike the other candidates will have to open up about one of Califonias biggest problems...ILLEGALS TAKING OVER OUR STATE. We need a governer that will stick to the laws that are on the books and save this state.

I'm for that, but you have to get the attention of the most voters. His name is not exactly a household word in Cal. and it's a short campaign.

Savage is a fool about 50% of the time. These days he is calling Kobe Bryant's alleged victim "mountain trash". He repeats every negative rumor about her as gospel truth and calls her and the prosecutor liars and says they should be jailed. He is 90% attitude and is wrong on issues about half the time. He lost his TV show because he could not handle criticism when he controlled the venue. Imagine reporters (if they took him seriously) grilling him. He would have one of his moronic temper tantrums.

The man is a lunatic.

He may be right on a couple of issues, but he could get NOTHING accomplished because of his paranoid, bombastic, my-way-or-the-highway manner. I don't think, after Gray Davis, Californians are going to go for a stark raving loony.

But who knows? Minnesota elected Jesse Ventura. Never underestimate the unpredictability of the masses.

What happened with Savage's show last night. He spent the first hour hyping an important, heard it here first announcement and then some other guy came in to fill in for him the next hour???

I'm I the last person in on the joke?

I know a lot of people will look at Michael running as crazy but I believe this is exactly what Calif. needs to turn it around and get solvent. Close the borders, cut spending , get rid of all the Demospenders. I see Savage as a no nonsense get it done person.

I know that my state, Georgia, is not considered as "enlightened" and "progressive" as California, but here the governor couldn't do that stuff without a lot of cooperation from the General Assembly. Does California's governor have that much power?

I thought the Feds were in charge of the borders?

I would have to disagree about Mikes popularity. I think anyone who reads or listens to the radio has heard of Savage in Calif. If not...thoses are the kind of dolts who should not vote.

The point of Savage anouncing his possible run is to draw out the dialogue. Savage knows this. Even if he is looked at as a joke he opens the door to our biggest problem in Calif. and that is ILLEGALS. He is probrably frustrated enough with radio staions and media to drop his show if he had to. This is a one time chance to really bring the issues to the table.

Run man! How does this sound? Seven for Savage. If you run, people in Seven for Savage pledge to donate a minimum of $7 each. Multiply that by 4 million, buddy. That ought to be enough funding. I wonder if a governor of CA is able to have some kind of special investigation of Vince Foster....

"How is Savage going to convince the democrat legislature in CA to do anything he wants done?"

If Savage won from a grass roots internet campaign, his mandate would crush the rats in Sacramento, who are already damaged goods due to the squawk box incident. If they fought him, they'd pay.
