It took every vote from every citizen, including a Herculean effort in the last stand out County, Miami-Dade, by the Cuban-Amrican community to elect Bush.
Seems to be the problem.
So Excuse me if I disagree with you, I would consider the Cuban American community a grassroots conservative group, usually more independent than most. Admittedly you would know better about that and I'm probably stereo typing.
I noticed you only quoted the first sentence in my post, It was grassroots conservatives and leftist extremists who got Bush elected. It's a mistake not to recognize this." so maybe you didnt read the entire thing?
I do believe it is a mistake for Bush not to recognize it was the support of grassroots conservatives united with the GOP that defeated Gore. It is insulting to us and arrogance on his part not to see this.
You have not said anything to change my mindless dribble, but your attitude is typical of what many independant conservatives find so offensive about the Republican Party.
Which is why 40% voted for Bill Clinton on two different elections?
Maybe, you should get out more.
My attitude?
How about the attitude of the small percentage of fringers who take claim for every victory and every defeat, spitting in the face of the vast numbers who fought the battles?
