RE medal winner Dave Thomas, is he the founder of Wendy's? Is he still alive? Photo? If he's that Dave Thomas, he's a huge American success story, a hard-working guy who started with one little restaurant and created an empire.

He died last year, I think. He had serious heart problems for quite a while.

The first Wendy's was in Columbus, so we sort of claim this sweet man as our own!
