I hate that you write better than me. That would be: "better than I". ;)

You guys stop whining because Alec and I are simply wiser than you two despite our youth. We can't help it. We were born that way. :-)I hope you get a really bad traffic ticket.

My answer to all those 'write a paragraph' things is:
Suddenly, they all died. In the distance, a dog barked.
Needless to say I am not very popular.

How do you like
this?
Clanging engine bells blended with the hubbub of goodbyes, and rolling baggage carts noisily provided a chorus to the warm night air's oily smells of asphalt and greased bearings. The train station ambience stayed with him up the steel steps leading onto the car vestibule until Wilson opened the surprisingly heavy door into the dimly lit passenger car, then let it close behind him with a thud. The silence was immediate.

If I'm still around to see it, I'll cackle out loud.
I am gonna make a fantastic old man..
I can already yell: "Hey you kids, get off my lawn!" in a menacing tone and just the other night I corrupted some young'ens by telling them that the noise and light's in the sky were because the kids who are bad explode every year on July 4th.
I later informed them that WW2 was because the Germans were rough-housing and being loud after their bed time, so the Britts couldn't sleep.
Yessir, bring on them golden years.. cause I'm ready!

That's fantastic! I wanna be just like you. :)
AAMOF when my young daughter asked me why it was raining, I said that Jesus was very sad and those were tears.
When she asked me why Jesus was so sad, I said, "It's probably from something you did."

ROFLMAO!!
I still got a long while though, but I know when (if, Lord willing) I get there... this "golden years" thing is gonna be fun!
I spare no one.. not even the dog.
When she's bad on the floor, I give her a full blown lecture, Jim Belushi/Animal House style and I always wrap it up with: ".. and remember, dogs are cheap!"
I am gonna love it!
Get me the golf pants, the handicapped licence plate, full sized Buick and whole shebang! We're pulling out all stops for my retirement!
Hell yes!

I remember hearing about this whole 'Life Experience' criteria thingy... So I injected my mother with Sacharine, and now I'm waiting for the Cancer to kick in. AS soon as it does, I'll shoot myself in the foot and begin complaining about the genocide against my people by the evil white invaders...
I'm going to college! Woo-hoo!

The "Set of Circumstances" here Described depict a Culture which has ABANDONED MERIT as a Criterion for "Excellence" as a Criterion for Training for any "Leadership Position" in our Culture!!
We HEREBY have declared that THERE NO lONGER EXIST "Objective Criteria" by which we can "Judge" the Character or performance of any individual!
SOMEHOW, we have decided to ignore Merit when we Judge our next generation of Leaders!!
I THINK we Probably Need to re-assess how we educate our next generation of "Leaders."

Extremely well said. It's gonna be a scary future if the graduates of these institutions follow the policies set forth in this article.

"I think the whole future of my race hinges on the question as to whether or not it can make itself of such indispensable value that the people in the town and the state where we reside will feel that our presence is necessary to the happiness and well-being of the community. No man who continues to add something to the material, intellectual, and moral well-being of the place in which he lives is long left without proper reward."
What a wonderful attitude! But I was caught by the thought: What if, conversely, we got what we deserved for not contibuting positively to the success of our community? I, and many others, I fear, would be in for a ration of...

The problem is enforced diversity, not of intellect and interest, but in levels of intellect and interest.

Tell Alec he'll get a lot farther by stating the obvious in a tad fewer words.
Like about half?
For business purposes, a third!
Bullet charts are nice.
