Leykis said, adding that he felt it unfair to name Bryant but not his accuser. Interesting that it is okay to publicly accuse someone but be protected by victim statutes. The women's groups are up in arms over the revealing of her name. They also dispute Leykis' actions given their presumption of his guilt.

Where's the outrage over her (their) adultery? Guess all our preachers, priests, and rabbis are hiding behind their 501C3s.

Yesterday on FR there was a thread that named her. It lasted a nanosecond.

But her name, address, telephone number and possibly her picture have surfaced on the Internet. On that CJ entertainment show they said the image in the prom photo and laying on the floor in the cheerleader outfit is not the girl.
So, if he is giving that name on his show its the wrong one. He could be facing a lawsuit by this other girl.

I was unaware that the 19 year old was (a) married or (b) engaged in consensual relations with Bryant.

Tom Leykis was chased out of the Boston market because he had his own problem with women- he likes to hit them. He knocked his girlfriend around and was dead meat here in Boston afterwards. I don't know why this isn't well known.

You are correct, if it was consensual she committed fornication not adultery.

"I was unaware that the 19 year old was (a) married or (b) engaged in consensual relations with Bryant."
Adultery can be committed by an unmarried person as well as a married person. Whether or not she later claimed to have been raped, ignores the fact that she went to a room with him to engage in sex, had sex, then bragged about it, and later said she was raped. This is what I've seen on all the networks. If she were raped, then he deserves whatever they do to him. And I understand that she has proof.

If she's a rape victim, then your pin the head on the donkey (since you're showing your blindness) is way off target.

Sorry. Maybe they did go to that room just for autographs and tea. Never thought about that. Sorry.

Leykis sounding exactly like Sean Hannity. Just outraged that Kobe's name is out there but his rape victim's name is protected.

Maybe they did go to that room just for autographs and tea. Now there are multiple visitors to Kobe's room?

Funny this coming from Leykis. One of his many divorces was due to wife thumping, as I recall.

Not surprised to hear that - few times I've caught his show, his hatred for women was obvious.

Leykis is a bed-wetting liberal. This "flap" won't cost him a moment's airtime.

Interesting that it is okay to publicly accuse someone but be protected by victim statutes. Mr. Rob would like for all victims, aged 0-whatever, to have to stand in the public square and accuse the perpetrators to their face.
How consistent are you on that? Ya wanna make 9 yr old girls who've been molested to have their names plastered all over? Ya want newspapers to never use the term "victim" again? (In your mind, every crime victim is an "accuser"?)
Why don't we just do the defense attorneys of America one big collective favor and replace every usage of "victim" with "accuser." They'll love it! You would be their fave juror...and they could pinpoint where you stand during jury selection with one relevant voir dire question.
