These stories remind me of the stories about Monica-before DNA proved Clinton was lying. You may think paying for a story doesn't affect it's credibility, but I disagree. These rags want dirt (doesn't have to be true), and they will pay for it. Do you think the Star prints truthful stories? Have you ever read these type of magazines?

If you pay attention you'll notice they get sued when the stories are false. They will also be more likely to hunt down dirt on the celebrity than the unknown person. So far, they've not printed anything that is on the shelves yet.
