MSNBC: Alleged (Kobe Byrant) Victim seen bragging at a party 3 days later
MSNBC.COM ^ | 7/22/03 | MSNBC

Posted on 07/22/2003 8:20:57 AM PDT by Smogger

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.

They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)

The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.

When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.

I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.

This just keeps getting better and better...

Why would a woman come on this board and say it is not a
crime to be buggered against ones will.hmmmmm

It makes you wonder if the post really comes from a woman.
I'm guessing that many male posters are dishonest and try to pass themselves as females. IMO

"I'm guessing that many male posters are dishonest and try to pass themselves as females. IMO "

Well, yesterday cinFLA was supposedly a male, and today was replying about what he/she looks like without makeup. I guess we have dishonest people on both sides. I for one am without a doubt female but never said anything about the buggering because no one knows if that even happened. There was merely a statement from KB's bodyguards saying he wanted to but never that it actually occured. And none of the girl's friends (either the ones defending her or against her) have mentioned it at all that I'm aware of.

Don't forget the biggie (smear)

The girl mutilated her own vagina to make it look like she was raped....I never thought some posters could stoop that low.

Actually, it's first degree sodomy. I sat on a grand jury that heard a very similar case.

Very interesting. Thanks for telling us about your grand jury experience. I guess that your fellow jurors didn't see things the same as I do on this point.

Why do all these women go after rapists and murderers?

There are women and then there are women....you have to look at the quality of the women....anybody can have somebody if they put their standard low enough, and I guess when you're in jail anything is good enough.

What would make you think that? Something wrong with women having male friends?

I've known plenty of women who prefer gay male friends over straight male friends. If you stop to think about it, it has it's advantages. The woman can go out in public with "protection" on her arm. She knows the gay friend won't try to hit on her. She and her gay friend have many of the same interests - fashion, cooking, hairstyles, home decoration, men...

cinFLa doesn't have to tell anyone if she's male or female because she's or he's not hurting anyone, I only question it
when a poster try to make it look like a woman enjoy being raped...it's deceitful.

how many times I have seen someone say.. "but the prosecutor must have some solid evidence, b/c he went forward with the charges.

You know the person that I am rapidly coming to feel the most sorry for in this particular situation? The DA, of all people!

Think about it. He really had no political way not to bring these charges... small town, complainant well known and liked or at least well connected (good friends with the sheriff), the accused is a big name from out of town, high profile case, lots of publicity... If he doesn't bring charges then the voters will be up in arms that he caved in to the "rich and famous who come to our town and rape our women." Of course, the accused and his supporters (by and large) don't vote in this town.

Yes, I know that DAs should bring or not bring charges based on the evidence and let the chips fall where they may, but the pressure is still there.

Anyway, he got the evidence that he thought that he would need to bring in a guilty verdict and then all this other stuff starts to come out. The way things are going, he may not even take this case to trial. A few more revelations about his star witness and he may plea bargain for a greatly reduced charge like kissing without permission (OK, I just made that part up) or dismiss the case outright. But at that point the story will have played out in public (which never would have happened had he not filed charges) and there would likely not be the public outcry which would have occurred had he not filed charges in the first place.

Now you have never seen Kobe's mug shot, have you? Talk about a thug.

The defense doesn't have to worry about playing the race card.

With asinine comments like yours, the hand is already dealt.

Well, thanks for the tip, but I am not particularly interested. Maybe someone else is, though.

It was linked from Tom Lykes site so I thought "what the hell, it's out there" might as well be first at the FR.

Actually, these threads are worse. The vile posts by females are even viler - not to mention stupider and more classless.

If you're auditioning for "America's Most Wanted," you need to calm down, put on some lipstick and try not to spit when you talk.

People are free to be ignorant and to draw any conclusion they wish, even if they are baseless and drawn off of preconceived notions rather than examined facts

That's why some people think Kobe is innocent. Good point.

I agree. It is very odd. I think some people on this board are transposing there own feelings and bad experiences onto the situation.

Can't one turn on Oprah or the View to partake in this sort of activity?
