MSNBC: Alleged (Kobe Byrant) Victim seen bragging at a party 3 days later

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.

They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)

The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.

When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.

I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.

This just keeps getting better and better...

FJ, I am with you on this. The D.A. would never take on such a high-profile case if he did not think he could win. Hurlbert has repeatedly said that he has conclusive evidence. The girl sustained severe injuries; Bryant's DNA was all over her; her clothing was torn; and there was other evidence in the hotel room....I am assuming blood on the carpets or bed. Other hotel guests heard the altercation and called Security.

Things do not look good for Kobe if this goes to trial. He can only hope to get a change of venue or venire. Too bad Pam Mackey can't ask for a jury from L.A.

My prediction is that with such an overabundance of evidence, Bryant will cop a plea and get off with probation. Then the girl will bring a civil suit, which she will win.

See if it doesn't happen just this way. (He says as he looks into his crystal ball....)

That is a tough call. But in the end, I think I would disagree. It is wrong and degrading but I don't know if I would go as far as saying it is rape. I certainly couldn't see putting someone in jail for it.

Right after Kobe made his big TV appearance, a 'transcript' appeared on the web. I noticed that it was different from what he said. The transcripts on the web now are the ones that are real transcripts and I can't find the original one now.

The original script had him saying something to the fact that endorsements (not that word) don't matter to me now. Well it came out of his mouth as:

"I have a lot at stake, and that's not just -- has nothing to do with the game of basketball, has nothing to do with endorsements. Nothing at all. You know, this is about us. "

In other words EVERY word was scripted and rehearse but he blew it there. It floored me when he said it so I remembered it well and went to look it up and that is when I found the original.

Kobe Bryant; scripted and rehearsed. However, he blew it and instead of saying money didn't matter to him, he said we should not bring in whether or not his endorsements should be affected by this mess. The arrogant SOB.

Given the media attention to the case and the fact that miss colorado has made a sworn affadavit regarding these charges... I think he has no real choice. I believe they would be required to follow through even if she dismissed the claims.

I am witnessing more disdain and outright contempt for everything female, on this post than I ever would have believed could possibly come from alleged to be conservatives.

I am a female conservative. I don't buy into the NOW philosophy that all women are powerless victims. Women should not go to a man's hotel room, especially a famous celebrity, at 11:30 PM, claim to be be raped and then feel indignant if we appear suspicious of their motives.

We are talking about a ninteen year old girl here. Small town, country and mountain grown. THe girl next door type, not some worldly wise, street walking tramp.

Not from the pictures I have seen. She appears to have breast implants and a belly piercing. She lives in a small town which is a suburb of a very affluent area. I have seen her many of her friends interviewed on various talk shows and they look like the audience members from TRL on MTV.
