I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged.
They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence)
The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened.
When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident.
I think someone may have even asked how hung was Kobe upon which she described with hand gestures. She seemed to be bragging according to a friend, but said she couldn't tell them what happened that night.
This just keeps getting better and better...

You're joking, right? If so, it's a bad joke. If not, you've got a major screw loose.

If she were devious enough to pull off this frolic on the sheets in order to get in Bryants pocketbook, why would she do something stoopid like this?

From what I can tell, it doesn't sound like she did it to get in Bryant's pocket. It sounds like she's mentally unstable and desperate for attention.

Did anybody happen to listen to KFI yesterday afternoon? In the course of discussing Kobe two female callers insisted that black men have "very large penises" and would "tear up" any "little white girls" like this accuser. I couldn't believe it.
The second one said she didn't want to discuss her personal matters with an audience of thousands but that her husband was "hung like a horse."

Let's see...The National Enquirer comes to town and tells you they'll give you $20,000 to give you dirt about this girl, and you'll remain anonymous. Hmmm.... 1. The Enquirer would never goto press without 2 sources.
2. The sources weren't anonymous. They gave their names on the interview. They showed them on the interview. I just didn't catch their names. None of the townspeople that I have seeen give interviews have been "anonymous"
3. The Enquirer would be much more interested in digging up dirt on the celebrity in this case (Kobe) then the alleged victim.

why would she do something stoopid like this?I think "stupid" is the operative word for all parties involved in this. I don't think anyone of these folks are Mensa candidates by any stretch...

You're right. This woman's best friends are trashing her and her case. It makes you wonder what she is like, under the "birds of a feather" theory. And it really makes you wonder about young people today. They seem so self-centered and maniuplative.

This "separate places and times" detail sounds like a nice touch of credibility considering all of them are as likely to be as compromised in the credibility department as they claim she is....
The reporter and "news" outlets who employed such a silly tactic to legitimize teenage party gossip are no more credible than the gossipers....
To: Phantom Lord
...(I)f you accuse someone of rape falsely, you go to jail for the amount of time the wrongly accused would have served if convicted.... Of course, the accuser would have to be shown to have accused falsely beyond a reasonable doubt. Mere aquittal of the accused would not be sufficient proof of a false accusation, since our system recognizes that many guilty people will never be convicted.

Mike Walker (Enquirer editor) will go after any side of the story, as long as it's juicy. I'm sure he's got someone digging for just as much dirt on her as on him.

This just keeps getting better and better... I think this case is much more fun to speculate upon because we really have no idea what happened. I'm thinking the D.A. must have some pretty solid stuff, because stuff like this is going to continue up to, and during, the trial.

But we already have plenty of dirt on her. So far no one has been able to come up with a "smoking gun" in Kobe's past. I am sure they are feverishly looking. If I were them I would be.
