Kobe has a spotless reputation in regards to criminal activity.

Sorry, but this girls life is what it is, and right now, it is open for intense scrutiny, for these particular kinds of things. Yes. For two reasons:
1. She's not a minor. She's 19 years old.
2. If you're going to accuse (or perhaps falsely accuse) someone of a crime that carries punishment up to LIFE IN PRISON, then you better damn well come forward or else, victim or not, the media is gonna harpoon your ass.

Next were going to be told that this young girl and her friends gang rapped several Hells Angles at a biker rally outside of town last year.

Well, I'm following the news about Saddam's sons, but I'll pop in to quickly point out that your thread yesterday about the DA's office not knowing about the girl's background, specifically the OD, was false.
There are other rumors that have been floated and then debunked, but I'm not following the Bryant case right now, just noted your unseemly glee at thinking you found dirt on the girl.

OJ had been beating his wife for some time, and the police were aware of it. It just wasn't considered newsworthy since he was out of the spotlight. I don't know anything about Blake.

But hey, if you want to see a man with a spotless past go to jail based on the word of a girl who sounds like a nut, that's your businessYeah, like totally dude. It's like, it's like ...
impeaching a President because some chick couldn't clean some stupid blue dress
It is insane, isn't it?
No, rapists, and their enablers, are evil.
To: LanPB01
The girl is not a criminal either.

If the family did not approve of his marriage I'd say that's their problem. As for why they were worried about his wife's influence I'd say they were worried about their cut of his $$$.Kobe has issues. He has been secretive and those who thought they knew him are now expressing doubts, covering their bets.

Yeah, comparing perjury by the President of the United States to a basketball player cheating on his wife is really a winning argument.

At that point, she will have been "outed," and will have to speak out to defend herself. Plenty of people involved in high-profile cases speak to the media before said case is adjudicated...the fact that she is trying (albeit in vain) to stay anonymous tells me that she's not seeking attention.

I'm late this morning. Thanks for the ping, Smogger.
I'm reading the thread as fast as I can, but your post #46 stopped me dead in my tracks, Henrietta! BRAVO!

Well, she's fond of the alcohol and suicide attempts, apparently. If everyone is going to attempt to trash Kobe, then I see no reason we shouldn't get all the relevant details about his accuser as well.

I totally understand the false reporting of rape. Neil Boort didn't discover anything that wasn't alrady known by most men. I cast a shadow of doubt on incidences when rape is reported long after the alleged incident. In those cases, there is almost always a clear motive. There is no motive here, notwithsatnding the BS you will see dug up and misleading quotes from people who dont really know the accuser.
To: cyncooper
but I'll pop in to quickly point out that your thread yesterday about the DA's office not knowing about the girl's background, specifically the OD, was false. It wasn't a rumor it was a direct quote from a representative of the DA's office. Todays denial in the Vail Daily does NOT have a direct quote from a source.
There are other rumors that have been floated and then debunked, but I'm not following the Bryant case right now, just noted your unseemly glee at thinking you found dirt on the girl.
Were not talking about rumors were talking about articles with quotes attributed to persons living in Vail and Eagle county. I don't post rumors as articles. I only post information reported on TV. or actual sourced articles. If you have some information that disputes what has been posted please share it. Otherwise keep your accusatory blather to yourself. Thanks.

It'll all come out. 19 year old girls need to stay away from married men.

Or married men need to stay away from 19 year old girls....If woman is the root of all evil why is Satan a man?

Next were going to be told that this young girl and her friends gang rapped several Hells Angles at a biker rally outside of town last year. LOL!! See #52. Beat you to it ;-)
To: Smogger
It wasn't a rumor it was a direct quote from a representative of the DA's office. Todays denial in the Vail Daily does NOT have a direct quote from a source.I posted to you last night that Mark Hurlbert, the DA himself, said on MSNBC last night that the representative was misquoted and the fact was they had done a thorough investigation.
That is called debunking an erroneous story.
To: Smogger
Ya think this news qualifies as BOMBSHELL #3?
It's not looking good for the prosecution; this case might not go to trial.
