Thanks for the comments. Other than what I've already stated about the use of the gun pointed at the president, I think the cartoon is somewhat too obtuse. If you wish to get a message out, you better be sure everyone can understand what message you're trying to convey. I do believe there is a little too much room for misunderstanding. He didn't firm it up enough.

Oh absolutely they are communists. I wanted to say that, but figure I say it so much on this forum I will get accused of the dreaded McCarthyism! :-)Well, I'll be the THIRD to support the statement, so we'll all go down in the "conspiracy" world, together. It takes a Village? Right?

"It's insightful to nut cases"
You know, the left sure doesn't think a cartoon like this would insite a psycho, but they sure throw a fit about the 'Wanted' posters with the abortion docs on them.

The left doesn't hesitate to sink to any depth to push their agenda, it's for the children. But this cartoon is outright unlawful and the Secret Service should be knocking on this guys door with a warrant.
Never in the past has there been such bold and heinous suggestions that a President be assassinated as the left has engaged in since Bush took office. It's an outrageous scandal and they should not be allowed to get away with it.

Vietnamese National Police director Nguyen Ngoc Loan, was better known to his American pals in the 5th Special Forces Group as *Larry* Loan. His *Trois Continents* restraurant in Dale City, Virginia on I95 south of DC was notable for being one of the very few I've ever been in that had
Edith Piaf's song Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien on the jukebox. For those who don't know the language or Piaf's music, the title approximates to
No, I ain't got no regrets. It was the chosen theme and marching song of the French Foreign Legion's First Parachute Regiment, disbanded after the failed Algerian Coup. Larry Loan was a hell of a soldier, and an all-around class act. His taste in music reflected that.

Non, je ne regrette rien.
C'est paye ... balaye ... oublie.
Je me fous du passe ...
Balayes pour toujours;
Je repars a zero.
Non, je ne regrette rien.
[No, I regret nothing.
It has been paid for, swept away, forgotten;
I do not give a f**k for the past ...
Swept away forever;
I am starting again from scratch.
No, I regret nothing....]

I thought it looked strange, but I thought the cartoon was portraying politics in a bad light, i.e. Democrats are holding a gun to W. It's making the dems look bad. Still doesn't look good though.

I heard someone say recently that the first American killed in the jihad was RFK.

Thats the way I see it also, but we get reamed for that opinion. I want to see how this cartoonist has helped the conservative party.

They will take it at first glance as I did and move on. It's a very tasteless cartoon. He should have used "politicians" instead of "politics".
I also did the first glance, then I investigated to prove this guy was a conservative. I have yet to see any proof of what he has done as one or for the party. As for what he should have written, if he loves controversey so much, and if in fact he is a conservative, then just call it DemonRats!

Your post is the first of over 1000 to finally give a hint of why Ramirez is a conservative, thank you! Because his cartoons do not do it for me as a conservative.

There's nothing new about it, as Ann shows. If you haven't, you should read it, Hangtown.

Good grief, can't believe it took more than a minute for normally sharp Freepers to catch on to the fact that the cartoonist is illustrating the political assasssination of Bush by the loony left media and policos....
Suggest people take just a second for thought before slinging ineffective and outdated slurs.....
To: Mediaqueen
Look at JustPiper's posts and try not to shake your head.
