Yesterday we had a pretty large crowd gather for a picnic at the park in Lakeway outside of Austin, TX
Sorry that I have taken so long to get the thread up.
Sarce has a list but partial attendees were: Basil who organized the park and free parking.
DrewsDad, DrewsMom and of course Drew - thanks for doing all the cooking David!!!
The Sarce who brought drinks and lots of Flags - did anyone get a picture of the entrance?
AustinGirl took time from studies to attend we have missed her when she can't come.
The whole Bat family was there, Bat Lady, hubby and son.
Also Gracey was there. I can't remember they whole list right now. Please update the list, anyone.

Attendees came from SA, Waco, Cedar Park Austin and San Marcos. We thank all who came Freepers, Lurkers and guests.
So as I was unpacking the car so other people came to the park and had to pass thru the entrance that Sarce and I had taped flags up. He asked if it was a Republican meeting going on. Wonder how he KNEW it wasn't a democRAT meeting? HMMMMM?

Sorry I forgot that PetroniDE came from HOUSTON. Now that is a long trip!
Everyone brought food and we had way too much to eat, loved the watermelon brought on the back (iced down) of the motorcycle by War Moose.

It was a great time. So glad I could make it and meet some new faces. Capt. Clay all the way from San Antone and PetroniDE from Houston - good to meet you and to see my old friends. ValerieUSA is soon moving to the Austin area. Also met Dr. Warmoose and wife, several folks from Republican groups joined us.

We had one guest who I thought was a Lurker but didn't know anything about FR. I found out he was a guest, that Verona had sent him the info for the picnic and he came.
He lived in Ark. for some years and had lots of knowledge about B. Clinton. Just wish Ark. had shared what they knew BEFORE the election and saved the US all that turmoil.
It was great listening to him about stuff we found out in dribbles but was common knowledge to Ark.
one thing that stuck in my mind was, always tell people Bill greew up in Hot Springs. Hope was just the birthplace. Just a tiny re-write of history to make him sound better. Hot Springs is the bed of Mafia connections but Hope sounds better for BC.

I am not a good detail person. I arrived an hour and half late and this was the first time I had met anyone else in attendance there.
Everyone was welcoming and gracious and I had a lot of fun and look forward to participating in the HOT chapter after I move to Cedar Park (near Austin) next month.
To: ValerieUSA
Thanks...Good luck with your move.
Is there any way you can find out who made the FR sign or let me know the freeper who was in charge of the event. Was it done by a freeper or professionally done. We are looking to have one made up and I need some ideas...thanks.

Can any of you help Coleus about who made the FR banner?
To: Coleus
I made the banner. It was just a rolling up window shade that we took out of our RV and I was just careful about the printing. (Large Sharpies)
Sorry Cpt. Clay, I did remember but couldn't remember everyone so didn't want to play favorites. :)
To: The Bat Lady
Thanks, nice job and very cost effective. We were looking into getting a sign made for the Tri-State Chapter of FR. I wonder if anyone here is artistically inclined.
