Ann Coulter vs. Hildabeast, count the books
Posted on 07/18/2003 6:57:39 PM PDT by FreeAtlanta
It just can't add up! I was in Sam's today and counted 45 of Hillary's "version of history" books and 0 Ann Coulter books. I then wondered how many "lying history" books are sitting on floors around the country. I know we can't count them all, but lets put our freeper brain power together and come up with some "conservative" estimates. This is what I have so far;
Costco 417 stores * 45 books = 18,765
As of August 31, 2002, the Wal-Mart had in the United States
(estimated 10 books per store?)
1,603 Wal-Mart stores * 10 = 16,030
1,179 Supercenters * 10 = 11,790
36 Neighborhood Markets * 10 = 360
Sams Club 517 * 45 = 23,265
Barnes & Noble
628 Barnes & Noble, Bookstop and Bookstar stores * 50 = 31,400
258 B. Dalton bookstores * 50 = 12,900
Books-A-Million
207 Stores * 50 = 10,350
For a total of 124,860.
Can you all list more book store names, retailers and number of their stores, and if you think my estimate of the above numbers are too high or too low. Let's make this as thoughtful as possible. I think Hillary's publishers are trying to pull something over on everyone.

BTW, there have to be shrill books sitting on floors internationally, and I saw a thread today that talked about Liebraries buying disproportional numbers of her book. Even though she gets money from those sells, I don't count them as "real."

Let's also include supermarkets in the mix. Answer from cashier in local NY ShopRite "I haven't checked out any in the week we stocked our shelves".

Wasn't there a big airborne bookdrop just recently over Hollywood?
Rumor has it that only old conservative actors were injured.

If we're going to count supermarkets, the Krogers in my area are all chock full of Clinton's book. I've not found one yet that even sells Ann's book. One of the two Meijers around here finally starting selling Ann's book, but the two Targets and Wal-Marts have never sold it. All three have many copies of "Lying History" available, particularly the Wal-Mart.

I think the publisher is counting as sales the books they have shipped to stores. All these stores are now stuck with product they can't sell or return to the publisher
By the way all the books the libraries are buying are being paid for with taxpayer money. I bet if you check it's probably the ones in democRAT run jurisdictions.

My bet is the Libraries are getting large amounts of requests for the book because of all the curious conservative readers who would never actually buy the book, like myself for example.
Its like a bad traffic accident, you have to look even though there may be something icky to see.

Like it or not, Hillary's book is a hot seller among women. I know 3 or 4 that went out and bought it, even though they don't even like Hillary. They just wanted to read her book.

I did as you said;
Henry County/Pines System library - 1 Treason, 2 living history hardbacks and 2 books on tape
I then checked the
Atlanta library system;
86 Lying Her Story ..... fewer than I thought they would have
And, the big shocker? ZERO Ann Coulter Treason books. knock be over with a sigh.
Here are the Ann Coulter Books they have;
Records 1 - 4 of 4 in Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Search
type: Author or name
Search was: Coulter, Ann H

Ann Could write a book about liberal bias in our public library systems. yuck! Atlanta had more "it takes a village" (30) than all Ann books (~28) combined!!! This is their logo:

"The peoples..." Isn't this an old communist slogan?

We operate 2,488 grocery retail stores in 32 states under nearly two dozen banners. Our formats include supermarkets, price-impact warehouse stores, and multi-department stores, which are similar to supercenters, but offer an expanded variety of national brand appeal and general merchandise.
Well, if you figure they probably have about 5 Hitlery books each, that would be another

To: LanPB01; rllngrk33

767 supermarkets * 5 = 3835

200 stores * 5 = 1000
Bottom line, there are going to be a lot of these shrill books in the discount stores very soon. Is it true that they can't ship them back to the publisher? I wonder if we will ever know the extent of this bribe/pay-off. The willing press sure did it's best to help move the book.

The Costco in my area sold out of Ann's book in the first week and never restocked. Hillay's book, on the other hand, gets end of isle four-eight stack display.

Wal-Mart only has copies of Hitlery's fiction, but not a one of Coulter's great book. We have to remember that Hitlery was on the W-M board, so that explains that.

That the point. I don't believe it. She has had every spin and free PR the left wing media could give her, yet, the books are stacked neck deep in the stores. I won't some real book sold numbers to come out. I would love for there to be a listing of real sells vs. those bought by the leftist libraries. I am sure I am not the only one.
