First, I apologize if this has been posted. But this is a smear through and through on Pryor. Specter should be ashamed of himself as I think he is enabling this.

The Senate Judiciary Committee first delayed a scheduled morning vote and then put off the vote until next week
hahahaha...Pubbies should not be allowed to hold a majority in the Senate. They are helpless with a majority...and hopeless.

I think the vote was delayed because Specter didn't want to strong arm it through. But I am not going to try to explain that 51 Rebubs with about 5-10 RINOs does NOT equal conservative control of the Senate.
Replace Specter with Toomey and then we'd be getting somewhere.

I'm sure the NAACP is reconsidering their disrespect of Bush as we speak:
The Senate also confirmed Allyson Duncan for the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on a 93-0 vote. The Raleigh, N.C., attorney and former state appeals court judge becomes the first black woman on the regional court that handles federal appeals from West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina.

"I'm sure the NAACP is reconsidering their disrespect of Bush as we speak:"
Well, she's probably regarded as another "Uncle Tom" or shall we call her "Aunt Mavis". The GOP will never be able to please a radical, nutcase organisation like the NAACP.

Hatch said he wanted to hold a special late-night session but later decided to leave the vote until next Wednesday to accommodate the schedule of the ranking Democrat, Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont. Perhaps Leahy has to go back to his "country place" in Vermont to gather more firewood for another flaming-hot "finale" to one of his judiciary witchhunts.
On second thought,
the Dems want to collect fresh stories about the ways in which their constituents are telling them to keep being as "righteous" as they are.
Schumer loves to tell those stories when he gives a speech before the Senate. You'd think everyone in New York agrees with him.

Like most cults, the (current) NAACP, is only pleased if you toe their line.
They can't afford to let people think on their own. Anyone who strays too far from the fold must be crushed.

Hi, votelife.
I'm ashamed to say I haven't done more than read about Schumer (and NY State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer) almost every weekday in the New York Sun.
A picture of one of them is usually on page one, so sometimes I have mixed feelings about picking up the paper.
I've been busy with graduations, birthdays and (slightly) helping an unwed-mother-to-be, lately.
It's a miracle that so many young people are against abortion, after all these years of pro-death propaganda.
How are you doing?

doing well, working about around 70 hours a week. 6 years ago when I was in college I weakly supported abortion. 2 years ago, in the 2000 election in Florida, I proudly voted for Bush (in FL) and it felt like a great honor while voting (my first vote ever) to know I was doing it for "the least among us."
