Got bad news about my PC :O(

My brother came over and looked at my PC to see why I can't get into my internet. Niether he nor I could figure out what the problem is but to this day it still is "saying" there is no dial tone. now the jacks are working and the lines and the phone is working. According to the system the modem is working except the modem is "dead". It's gonna be a while befre I can get this straightened up, I either have to get a new computer or a new modem or just plain cancell my internet account. So the only times I can post is on my lunch hour at work. forget the weekends!

I can get to the library but I hate freeping in public, LOL! That sounds naughty! :O)

OH! WELL! May be I can get some writing done both for posting on The Finest and for my novel I've been working on mentally! HAH!

I'm so sorry about your modem. Mine got fried a few years back in a lightening hit. When you get straightened out, be sure to get a surge protector for your telephone line, as well.
