This "pattern of x" must have played well with Democratic focus groups and is seeping into already biased reporting.

Talking points put out to their lappets in the media by the DNC? ... Shades of 'gravitas', Cowgirl!

Thank you for the post, Cowgirl.

Here on FR, I have seen solid evidence of the so-called "urban legend" of the DNC Fax. Here is yet another piece of proof.

I think that there will be a lot of liberal, socialists dems with egg all over their faces soon enough. Do they not yet understand this President? Bush, Like many good men who know they are right, feels no need to defend himself from unjust attack, things will work out.

In the meantime, let them dems dig their own political graves with their tounges!

All of us need to memorize these few words. The actual words used by President Bush in his SOTU speech on this subject:

"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

If you can wait until a year from this November, you'll see the Dims get the spanking!

"Pattern" is their new mantra. It's time to laugh at them, like we did "Gravitosh."
Make fools out of them.
Pass it on about "pattern" to people you know, so they'll be sure to listen for it.

He said the president 'has a pattern of using excessive language in his speeches...

Wow, that's one heck of an improvement from 2000. Back then, I'd swear they said he had a pattern of mispronouncing words, flubbing grammar, and speaking plainly and simply, because he was a dunce. Now he uses excessive language.

Way to go, George!!

He said the president 'has a pattern of using excessive language in his speeches and off-the-cuff remarks' which 'represents a failure of presidential leadership.' "--Associated Press

Yeah, sure. I find it laughable that the libs have latched onto this one-liner on the thinnest of premises while the media (including the Washington Times) had nothing to say when Bill Clinton proclaimed loudly that "there are no nuclear missiles pointed at America's children" when they knew it was a straight-up lie. It's okay for Mr. Nuclear Proliferation himself (Klinton) to lie, but the tiniest inkling of an error by Bush is seized upon as a lie. I still can't believe that even FoxNews is piling on like this. /rant off

Waiting for a poll that asks if the democrats are using the 'yellow cake' issue for political gain. My guess is that 90% won't even know what that is and 85% won't know about the Iraqi's trying to buy uranium from Africa.

Time for Dubya to say he's said all he's going to say as the FACTS speak for themselves.

I am not sure how much more of this I can stand! all of this is over nothing! The feeding frenzy is just amazing. The media didn't go this wild over Monica. The President's approval ratings are going down. How can people actually fall for this when clearly he did not lie?

a pattern of deception
the broader pattern of dishonesty
a pattern of deceit.

What I don't understand is that the leftists keep talking about this 'pattern', but they can't even prove one single instance.
