CINCINNATI, Posted 6:33 p.m. EDT July 14, 2003 -- In the movie "The Sixth Sense," a young boy said he saw dead people. In Cincinnati, a boy said he could see angels.

NewsChannel5 reported that the boy, Ryan Reynolds, died in April from a brain tumor. Before he died, he told his mother he had a great time at a family picnic because he was surrounded by his guardian angels.

"My parents died way before he was ever born, and he said, 'Mommy, your mommy and daddy,'" said Shirley Reynolds, Ryan's mother. "I said, 'Yeah, what about them?' He said, 'Is that them in the picture on the wall?' And I said 'Yes.'And he said, 'Mom, I just wanted you to know, they're both OK.' He said, 'They're just as pretty as they are in that picture, except they have wings and they're waiting for me.'"

Three different cameras using three different kinds of film were developed at three different places and all had the same transparent white shapes.

Not Living IN the Past, Living WITH the Past. Living IN the Past is a FANTASTIC old collection of B-sides and previously unreleased, great album. Living WITH the Past is a compiled live album (and also a DVD with mostly different tracks, Ian knows his fans and decided to reward their obsessive behavior) released late last year. A Little Light Music is good too.

Yeah, I'm a junky. I've got them all.

I get most of my info on them from the j-tull.com website (also name of recent studio album). The Oct 1st date will actually be Ian's tour not Tull's but that's fine by me, the Rubbing Elbows tour last year seemed pretty cool. I'm definitely there, trying to track down online ticket sales now.

Oh, oh, oh, I see. I will get that one, too. Thanks!

I had the option of seeing the Rubbing Elbows show, but really wanted to see the full-on band. Well, it's good to know you have stellar taste in music! ;-) I'll report back in August on the show...

Who's opening, does the ticket say? They tend to have good openers, they introduced me to the Young Dubliners who are just great.

My mother passed away suddenly a few years ago. They say she died sometime around 7-8 am. We we're all very distraught over the loss. For days afterward I kept getting up at exactly 7:22 am. A few months later I had my mother's picture in my living room and I had placed a lamp next to picture. It was one of those small touch lamps. I'd had it for a long time without any unusual occurrences. One morning I woke up and found the lamp was turned-on. I know it was turned-off before I went to bed. Some may call it static electricity or a power surge or something, but it never happened before and has never happened again.

Where did you go?

Nowhere. I'll leave FR when they pry my keyboard from my cold, dead fingers. Or when the Bushbot harpies consume the place completely, whichever comes first.

Actually, I intend to quit just as soon as I finish my really cool, righteous opus, but I just can't seem to get it started....

"Folks, I have watched FR go through alot of changes. Unfortunately, most of them have been bad...."

No, too hackneyed...let's see...

"Good-bye, cruel forum..."

No, no, too pitiful, people will just post wisecracks like "Bye, have nice day." ....

"To FReep, or not to FReep -- that is the question! Whether it is nobler in the minds of posters to suffer the flames and barbs of outrageous WODies ..."

Nope, too melodramatic.

See? I just can't get it together, so I guess I'll stick around for now. : )

I've got a better one than that...I had a Grandmother (My dad's mother) in a Nursing home in Boston. We weren't close at all. Probably had seen her a dozen times in my life. About 10 years ago I was living in San Diego, I had a very strange dream about her. It was so moving to me, that I called my father, who was living in New York at the time and told him I would very much like to go and visit her. He was happy to hear that. He told me to go ahead and make my plane reservations and he'd meet me there. I hung up from him, and immediately called my travel agent. While I was on the phone with my travel agent, I had a call waiting. It was my Father. He told me he just received a call that my Grandmother had passed away the night before.

I was interested in the story until I saw the video and heard the mom quote the boy that he saw his dead grandparents with wings on.

God created angels in the heavens and MAN in His image and likeness on earth. 2 different and separate creations. When MAN dies, he does not change or become an angel--unless you are watching a television show which is make believe.

Whatever you believe in is just fine with me. I don't care. But don't state as fact something that is merely something you believe. It is what you believe, and nothing more

well, the same can be said for you, in your disbelief, and calling the child's family STUPID. i haven't heard you express regret for that unfortunate OPINION.

I firmly believe as well. No unbeliever or naysayer can sway me to disbelieve. I have had a very personal experience myself, so I know without a doubt that angels are real as are demons.

Angels???

You better believe it. Just as you better believe there are demons.

My brother swore that around 3AM , 3 people came into his room at the hospital, and told him, he would be coming to the other side soon, and not to be afraid. That was all they said. They turned and walked out of the room. A minute later his nurse came in and after asking her, she said no one was in the Intensive Care Unit except for nurses. A week later he died sleeping in his recliner at home. Apparently, without any suffering. I tend to believe those were angels.

It's comforting to know that some day you'll see her again, God willing.

Well, since I never said that, I can't find any reason for regret. You may wish to go back and see that someone else used the word stupid. That is not a word I would use in describing anyone I did not know personally.

"The one thing I tell people when I hear they don't believe in God is, how do you explain your existence?"

Hmm, that's fairly easy. Sometime around Halloween in 1944, my parents had sexual intercourse. In July of the next year, after a normal gestation, my mother gave birth to me. Now, if necessary, I'd be happy to provide details as the the way the sperm and egg meet and cell division begins.

I exist because my mom and dad got together in the good old fashioned way.

I agree and I struggle with that as well, because science teaches you that no matter what, you can't create something from nothing. My point was, Big Bang theorist always talk about a thimble full of matter that explodes, but never put forth a theory as to where the matter came from. How did the matter appear? How was it created?

However far you recede, I can recede that far too. The difference is there is evidence of the big bang. There is none for your or anyone elses god.
