CINCINNATI, Posted 6:33 p.m. EDT July 14, 2003 -- In the movie "The Sixth Sense," a young boy said he saw dead people. In Cincinnati, a boy said he could see angels.

NewsChannel5 reported that the boy, Ryan Reynolds, died in April from a brain tumor. Before he died, he told his mother he had a great time at a family picnic because he was surrounded by his guardian angels.

"My parents died way before he was ever born, and he said, 'Mommy, your mommy and daddy,'" said Shirley Reynolds, Ryan's mother. "I said, 'Yeah, what about them?' He said, 'Is that them in the picture on the wall?' And I said 'Yes.'And he said, 'Mom, I just wanted you to know, they're both OK.' He said, 'They're just as pretty as they are in that picture, except they have wings and they're waiting for me.'"

Three different cameras using three different kinds of film were developed at three different places and all had the same transparent white shapes.

If he's wearing a beret, you know you got the wrong one.

Keep your eye out for the unusual. When you invite it, it has a way of showing up. Things are rarely as they seem.

I'll ask you The Matrix question:

If everything you experienced, considered fact, believed to be true were shown to you to be without a doubt to be a lie, would you want to know the truth?

Or do you believe that reality is for the unimaginative?

I enjoy debunking phony angel stories, so you'll please forgive me if I don't take your advice.

I'm sure you're very nice in real life. But you're being a real punchbowl floater here in FR land.

The funny thing is, posts like yours don't convince anybody, on either side of the debate. You know that, of course. So I guess it's just mental self-pleasuring on your part....

there were no candles or lights in our backyard when we got the photo of the dancing white doves that look like ghosts or angels on our photo.

Uh-huh. The Matrix is a work of fiction. I don't answer fictional questions.

Looks like a double exposure to me. In the center looks like Thomas the Tank Engine, and there's something odd in the upper left behind the kid in the blue sweatshirt, you can see some wierdness in the upper sky area two. Pretty classic signs of overlaid images.

Can you post the photo? Even better, send a copy to me, and I'll explain the image for you.

Not at all. However, you are not responsible for telling which side I will take in threads here on FR. This particular story is bogus. The images shown in the photos are simple internal reflections in camera lenses.

I have no doubt that this unfortunate boy saw visions he took to be angels. It's not an uncommon thing for people with brain tumors to see such hallucinations.

But, there are no angels in the photos. Sorry.

As for my personal beliefs, they are just that. Yours may not be the same, but that does not entitle you to tell me not to post in a thread.

I had an aunt who thought "white lights" in her photos was the spirit of her deceased husband. I don't think so.

you absolutely 100% sure about that? I can't wait to see what you have to say when you see them for yourself..............I hope i'm there....

Don't know about you, but I don't want to be where this guy is going whne he finally learns the truth about angels.

None of which absolves you of the original charge -- of which "dog in the manger" is perhaps the most civilized variant.

MM, My father came back to visit me twice after he died. He also came to visit my sister. He appeared to me one night with several other heavenly beings. Since they had no physical shape, but were pure brilliant white blinding bright light, I had no way of knowing who was with him. I assumed his mother (my dear grandmother Cooper), his brother Richard (MIA WWII), and perhaps angels, Jesus, perhaps my Grandfather... But they left after a few moments, without speaking. My dad let me know it was him. I think he was making sure I was OK, since he died on his drive back to Tulsa after visiting me in Houston.

Then a few days later he talked to me. He said "Your daddy's going on now." I said "WHAT!??!!?" and he repeated "Your daddy's going on now." and I didn't see or hear him again. We all called him DADDY even though we were grown up. Even the ribbon on his casket, attached to the bouquet said, Husband, Daddy, etc. So I am not surprised he called himself Daddy when he spoke to me.

He spoke to my sister about the time he died. He was in hospital in Dallas and they told her it was time to unplug the life support system, he was not going to survive this. She told them to unplug, and sat there in the hall, outside his room, feeling AWFUL! She heard his voice saying "It's allright."

Since then many people have told me they heard their loved ones tell them it was allright, when they were unplugging life support in hospital, right before their deaths....

Hallucinations of a poor kid dying with a brain tumor. Sad business. MineralMan

Actually, it is to be sad for you, by look of your presumptuous tagline. If you really claim to be an atheist, it is sad that you are so ignorant as to claim to KNOW that which you cannot know ... it is impossible to KNOW that their is no God. Think about it, dude. as to angels ... alas, even you might have a guardian angel that is over-worked and under appreciated. Incidentally, have you ever put a bill in a money changer to get change for a one or five or other sized bill?

Victoria Texas is one of the most haunted towns I know of. I talked to a lot of people about their resident ghosts. One of them showed up on a photo. I saw the photo. It was not retouched, there was a ghost of a man dressed in attire from about Civil War standing on the porch. There was a party going on, lots of people on that porch. They didn't see the gent, but he showed up in the photo. It was in their newspaper. The paper ID'ed the man, named him, and said that is how he dressed. The ghosts there are ornery, always moving portraits on the walls, toys, etc.

It turned out to be Glenda, the Good Witch. So don't tell me it's not real.

She acts all goody-good, but she has a heart full of malice. Trust me, she is one *wicked* witch. She just does that new-agey thing to make people trust her, and to make it hard for her victims to talk to people about the things she does.

I am an atheist. That simply means that I do not believe that any deities or other supernatural entities of any kind exist. That's not presumptuous at all. I simply do not believe.

I imagine you are a Christian. You believe in a triune deity, three in one. You probably don't believe that the deities in the Hindu religion exist.

I just believe in one less deity than you do. It's not so hard to do. You disbelieve in the Hindu deities. I disbelieve in all deities.

Now when a friend loses a parent, I ask them, has she been back to visit you? Has he been back to visit you? 99% of the time the answer is YES!
