Did you post any pictures of your trip to down under? Do you have the URL to that thread? That is one of my 'dream trips'.

It was certainly a dream trip for us. A beautiful country with the most wonderful, hospitable people. A week in Brisbane (for the International Rotary Convention) and then spent a couple days in Sydney. Too much to see and do on an 11 day trip. We have to go back.

I posted a photo of me cuddling a koala and one of the Sydney Opera House a few weeks ago, but I didn't want to bore everyone with our "vacation" photos. LOL.

I have put some of them in an album because Dutchess wanted to see some of the Rotary pictures. Dutchess, did you get the e-mail I sent yesterday with the link to the album? Anyway, here is the link to the Australia album for any who might be interested. :-)

Great looking pictures MB! The quality is so good that they must have been taken with a digital camera.
Like the way you added the titles also.

Since today we are thanking our military for all they do and have done for us, I am posting this. Our military made this happen........

"Afghanistan is Rotary's 166th country with reinstatement of Kabul club. The Rotary Club of Kabul, Afghanistan, was welcomed back into Rotary International this week, ending a 24-year absence of Rotary in that country and raising the total number of countries in which Rotary clubs are active to 166. The club had previously existed from 1968 to 1979, but more than two decades of war and political instability made it impossible for it to remain active." ~ Bhichai Rattakul President, Rotary International 2002 - 2003

It was a very short time ago that the women in Afghanistan were wearing burkas. Now, the Kabul Rotary Club has it's first women president. Something to be very proud of! :-)
