corruption and criminal cover ups do exist in law enforcement, and occur all the time.

Supposedly we should condemn all of capitalism since there are shady businessmen out there making crooked deals, and we should condemn all lawyers because some are shysters, and we should condemn all of government because some politicians are corrupt.

Those of us who are not blinded by hatred and ideology can well see that the good far outweighs the bad, and there is due process and there are laws to deal with those who corrupt self-governance, but you are free to believe otherwise.
