I believe he's still on that virtually useless Africa tour.
Vice President Cheney is starting to speak.
To: CaptRon
I thought the rendition was very poor. Too many off courds that didn't belong.

Hell I live just 30 min from NAS Norfolk and I'm watching it on Cspan. *L* This ship up close is unbelievably awesome, I drove past the carrier piers a few weeks ago when we had 4 of the big ships parked side by side.

Did John Warner slip in a sly dig at our President during his speech? If you see a replay, watch for the word "verify".

Can't be a happy day for the DUhers. I bet they are bitching and whining about how "militaristic" we dumb Americans are.
To: Severa
Very cool. Wish I could've seen that sight.
To: MinuteGal
I didn't notice. In any event, remember Hanlon's Razor.

Did I hear, "20 years without refueling"?

Anyone know what POTUS is doing this morning? I'm sure he would want to be there, but he knows this event is not about him. The President going to some ceremonies could overshadow the event, that's why he doesn't show up for everything. President Bush knows this is not a photo op for him, unlike his predecessor.
