I am attempting to put together a comprehensive list of terror attacks against the US, other western coutries, their troops citizens, or assets.
I need help from freepers who know of other attacks that could be listed or resources where I could find more info. I have excluded any attacks within Israel since these are too numerous to track.
The list will be on my website along with the terrorist scorecard and the Iraqi leadership scorecard.

| The former President disembarks from his airplane after a trip back to Arkansas. Although the hoopla is less now that he is out of office, Clinton still occasionally finds himself greeted by military personnel. This is one such occasion. He climbs down the stairs, carrying two huge pigs, one under each arm. He gets to the bottom, and nods his head in return to the soldier's salute. "Son, what do you think about these?" he says. "Nice pigs, SIR!" comes the reply. Clinton gets mildly miffed and lectures, "I'll have you know these aren't just pigs but the finest of Arkansas Razorbacks. Top notch. I got one for Hillary, and one for Chelsea. What do you think about that?" "Nice trade, SIR! |

One other thing that I think is important is the date of September 11. This is the deepest penetration of the Muslims into Europe. September 12th the Muslims were defeated. A recap of the battle follows:
One of the most important battles of the 17th century was the battle of Vienna, which was fought on September 12, 1683. The outcome of this battle would have a profound effect on the future of Eastern, if not of all, Europe. The Battle of Vienna was mainly fought by the Turks, with about 15,000 Tatars on their side, against a less numerous combination of Polish, German, and Austrian forces. The Turkish forces were led by the Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa, an ambitious man, but who wasn't a very good general judging by the number of battles he had lost.

I distinguish between different al-Qaeda waves according to the instructions issued by the organization's leadership and the tactics employed by the individual cells of the organization. During the third wave, which lasted between November 16 and January 24, the network attempted to employ chemical weapons in order to carry out mass casualty attacks in Europe (as well as Russia and America according to the State Department's 2002 report on global terrorism) that I believe were designed to deter military action against the Iraqi government. While all of these attacks failed, had they been carried out successfully they would've killed hundreds if not thousands of innocent civilians in addition to causing mass panic.

Lead-up to the War in Iraq
As of January 25, 2002 al-Qaeda had a serious problem. Its last chemical weapons cell in Europe had been successfully disrupted by Spanish authorities and shortly thereafter one of the organizations central hubs in the United Kingdom, the Finsbury Park Mosque, was raided by MI5. I'd add TWA 800!
Let's not forget Achille Laura and the hijacked aircraft that were dynamited in the Jordanian desert by our friendly neighborhood Arafart!

One other thought Bobby Kennedy's death on June 5, 1968, in Los Angeles by assassin Sirhan Sirhan could be one of the first terrorist attacks. My DH sat next to him in high school, said he was always angry about Israel and the Palis. DH has always been horrified that he knew him when.

If you're including kidnapping & murder of Daniel Pearl, you might as well go back to the Muslim Barbary Pirates who were capturing European and American seamen and selling them into slavery until Congress had enough and decided to send the US Navy and Marines to police the Med.
In one episode in 1805 American marines marched across the desert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing Tripoli to make peace and surrender all American slaves, and giving rise to the famous line in the U.S. Marine Corps anthem.
Hell, we've been fighting off these Islamofascists as long as the USA has been a nation. Europe has been doing it even longer, unfortunately they seem to have given up. Islam is invading them through their meek immigration policy.

Exacto!
Sirhan Sirhan is a radical Islamic terrorist, prototype for future assassinations.
Not quite the "religion of peace".
Everytime one of these Muslim clerics gets on TV or talk radio that bring up Oklahoma City as if one act trumps all of their mayhem.
The American public is so uniformed about the long continual string of insane cultist slaughter of innocents; over time they either forget or become numbed and unable to hear.
The Democrat party is playing little girlfriend to the terrorists.
Every knock on George W. Bush and our conduct and small losses in Iraq is a vote for el-Quaeda.
In particular the speech and actions of one American minority that defends and supports the terrorists is outright treason.
Big problem for the Dems in 2004.
Howard F. Dean, F. John Kerry, and that F. dingbat from Cinncinnati with Rev. Al thrown in to sing "3 Tenors" with Jesse F. Jackson and Screwy Louie Farrakan.
Go left, young Democrats!
Let's hear it for M?. Hillary F. Rodham-Blythe-Clinton the 1st!
