On Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM we will be rallying our supporters at the State Capitol. This won’t be any normal political rally – sure we’ll have speeches by the leading supporters of the recall effort.
But, what will be different is that this will be part rally and part celebration. We’ve accomplished a great deal by collecting enough signatures to qualify the first recall election against a statewide elected official in California history. But we have a lot of hard work ahead of us to ensure the YES on RECALL campaign succeeds.
Radio stations and their hosts and staff from all over the state will be coming to Sacramento and setting up booths at the Recall Gray Davis Rally & Faire. This will be a great day for the entire family to come out and enjoy a full range of activities for everyone (including the kids).
But most importantly we need to show the world the size and strength of the recall effort. We are inviting every media outlet in the state and the leading national and international news organizations to come and cover this Recall Gray Davis Rally & Faire.
We must have thousands of supporters hailing from every part of the state – and from every political party – represented.

Amtrak also offers some good alternatives to flying or taking a long bus trip. It also is a good service for those in the Bay Area who don’t like to deal with traffic. We have a lot of supporters who own a motorhome or trailer who have expressed interest in driving to the Sacramento area and camping for the weekend and bringing their RV to the State Capitol for the rally.
