HEHEHEHE!!! Amazingly, more Republicans can name a Dem candidate than the Dems can
To: So Cal Rocket
If we gave them a ballot w/o names on them, whom would they vote for? What makes this poll meaningless (funny, but meaningless) is that they will have a list of names to choose from.

A horse walks into a bar. The bartender comes up and says "Hey pal, what will it be?"
The horse orders a beer.
A few minutes later, John Kerry walks in and sits at the bar. The bartender walks up and says "Hey pal, cheer up. Why the long face?"
I'll stop if you guys will donate and get us over our fundraising goal

Me too.
I had a cat named Grumpy. He was very sneezy, and always sleepy, rarely happy, never bashful........

It's not meaningless. I think it's very significant that dark-horse Dean is suddenly the only one with name recognition.

Grumpy = Sharpton

No, no. Not Sharpton. Grumpy is Dean. He is closer to meanie or A-hole, but this is the only one that fits him.

No, Dean by default has to be Doc. I nominate Kerry for Grumpy, Mosley-Brown for Bashful, Edwards for Happy, Sneezy for Graham, and Sharpton can be Sleepy.
To: The Old Hoosier
The reason behind my opinion regarding meaningless is that 2/3 of them can't name anyone. Yet these 2/3 will still vote. How will they distribute their numbers?
According to the numbers shown above, Dean and Kerry are equal in name recognition. It is strange that a no-name governor from a tiny state leads this poll. I see Al Gore is on this list, and these people forgot who ran in 2000.
What will likely happen is that whoever wins the first caucus/primary, he will get a groundswell of "bandwagon support" and eventually win the democrat nomination.
A poll like this is why I still have concerns over '04. These democrats would vote for anyone (even Hitler, Stalin, Hussein, or name your own evil dictator) if they saw a "-D" next to it on the ballot.

McAwful was on FOX today - and as he was leaving - in the lobby - he yelled to Tony Snow - BUSH IS OUT OF HERE!
When Tony told his panel - they all burst out laughing!! It was tooooo funny. They agreed he is not doing much for the dem candidates - in the way of raising money - and that he would probably be the one who was OUT OF HERE!! It was an exceptionally fine moment since Gibson had allowed McAwful free advertising (which John will hear about). He's so arrogant you just want to slap him for good measure!!
