Just when you think the politically correct clowns on the campus can't get any more ridiculous, they shoot another live white man out of a canon.
Steve Hinkle is an undergraduate at California Polytechnic University. He has been found guilty in the campus kangaroo court of posting a flier on a student bulletin board offending the sensibilities of a small group of students so intellectually fragile they belong in a day-care center.
The flier invited one and all to a speech by Mason Weaver, a black man, author of a book called "It's OK To Leave the Plantation," comparing black dependency on government to dependency on the old massa down on the old plantation.

*Sigh* Do you want to know the scary thing? These stories don't even shock me anymore. I've been running this list for so long...
Addressing the lack of freedom on campus is sometimes as overwhelming as trying to eat an elephant. But as my father always used to say whenever I got frustrated with my calculus homework in high school, "Tackling complicated problems, like eating an elephant, is best done a little at a time."
Thank the Great Maker that Hinkle has opted to stand up for himself. Getting FIRE involved is the best thing you can do in these situations, because FIRE will be all over the school like white on rice.

I believe that FIRE is responsible for the stories we're reading on this case. It is getting quite aggressive, and thank goodness that it is!

Sort of. My geology textbook was full of global warming stuff and other "we're all going to die" type stuff. I brought it up to the instructor, who vaguely smiled and agreed with me. It's infiltrated everything.
