But I do know where such gems as "pot was never legal, "we don't put kids in jail for smoking pot," and alcohol is not a drug" came from. cut back on the drugs. I never said "pot was never legal." We DON'T put kids in jail for "smoking pot," and, for the purposes of a "legalize drugs" debate alcohol ISN'T a drug. It's already legal. Next?

I have posted statistics about lower use of hard (and soft) drugs in the neterlands but you dodge it with a non sequitur about gay marrage.
To: toothless
No, I think we are doing pretty much exactly what we need to do. We are making the lives of people like you difficult. That's enough.

the never legal was your partner in crime axel.
We do send 720,000 people to jail for posession. Jail is jail even if it is just over night.
To: presidio9
People like me huh?
lol.
I have never had any prohibition related dificulties.

Drug users logic: When drugs are legal, less kids will use drugsI don't know about drug users, but reality and facts show that the War on Drugs has not reduced usage by adolescents, which has in fact risen. Please read post #884, which cites statistics and links, including Federal gov't info.

Yeah, that was a funny movie, but stop trying to change the subject. I thought marijuana legalization was the subject.
You are losing this battle because:
You say I am losing this battle. Fine, if you are in such a deluded state that you wish to believe that, who am I to stop you. Please keep deluding yourself
(A) You have yet to make a valid point.
I've made several valid points, as many other clear-thinking individuals have done here. You are just too stupid hard-headed to understand the points being made.
(B) we want you to keep bumping this silly article from MTV. Thanks for being dumb enough to comply.
No problem, I'm sure the lurkers can find the truth and have a good laugh at your posts while doing so.

Someday you might. When they ask you to toss a few salads, remember what Chris Rock says "I prefer syrup."

The bottom line is if you back "vice" (such as illegal drug use) over just not doing drugs, you have a severe ethical problem that I don't associate with conservatism in any way.The bottom line is if you back the use of government force to attempt to prevent people from eating, drinking, smoking, or otherwise ingesting substances of their own choosing, you have a severe ethical problem that I don't associate with conservatism in any way.
And when did I ever say anything about backing the use of any drug whatsoever, legal or illegal?

So you want me to post about how legal availability lowers use but the only place I can draw my stats from is somewhere that has NO legal availability?
alright, ill go home then.
To: ActionNewsBill
I sure hope so.
Like legalizing drugs will result in more kids on drugs.

So are you accusing me of being a drug dealer? You have said that nobody goes to jail for posession, so i must be a dealer.
To: presidio9
Actually, as we share more and more of the truth, and people see your silly little answers, you are actually helping us.
Thanks!

Drugs were outlawed as soon as society noticed them. I had a really clever and scathing response to this idiotic statement, but I think I'll just say : BWAHAHAHA!

You are such a loser. Did I say that you said "pot was never legal"? No, I didn't. That honor goes to Axel. But you did make the other two statements, and no matter how you try to spin them, they are still incorrect.
Is is your contention that the possession of marijuana - while smoking it - is not a criminal offense which subjects one to incarceration?
Is it your contention that alcohol is not a drug?
BS alert for the impending doublespeak.

Supporting an individual's right to read Marxist literature is not supporting the practice of what is read in Marxist literature.
It's a very simple distinction, one that those calling me a "drug crazed hippie" don't seem to grasp.
