Yes thank you for reminding me. The Road Less Traveled. Theosophy scares me, as does an over-emphasis on angels (God comes first, and angels are his ministers to those who will inherit salvation). I take my New Testament straight. Peck is usually (not always) compatible with this. If I can't reconcile the two, the Bible wins.

Don't be 'scared' of Theosophy. It combines the best of 'all' religions' and philosophers. Madame Blavatsky was a simply amazing woman. On her query why men are so different than women, she disguised herself and travelled on a ship for 12 years, yes she was a very homely woman LOL.
I like it because Theosophy does not put a monetary blackmail on praying, going to church to pay to pray. I grew up Catholic, tried many religions and the manmade dogma is what scared me -g-
