The lead paragraph says it all. There is a recall election in our future. Great work from every one who gave their hearts out for this. We'd never believed this day would come and its here at last. Count on a vote in either October or November. It'll be the day we finally make history. Dump Davis! Cheers!!!

Arnold's not really a conservative at all. It's California. In a statewide race in California, a conservative loses 70-30. It's not the same state, the same population, that elected Reagan.
But Arnie's great fun and a far sight more moderate than the wacko leftists in charge of the state now. The far far far left rules California...because the huge majority of Californians are far far far left.
So if we can fool 'em into voting for Arnie, as an "undangerous" celebrity, well, we're all ahead of the game and maybe the Republicans and conservatives can start the long long long process of rebuilding a little bit in that state. They're horrendously, almost unbelievably, outnumbered there now.

Arnold is a Rino on nearly everything, including the most important issue facing California: immigration.
To: goldstategop
The democrats are secretly cheering this. A recall is bad political strategy.

About the only saving grace is he backs Stephen Moore's Club For Growth agenda. That might lead me to hold my nose to vote for Arnie reluctantly since I can't see anything else that attracts me to him as a conservative. A RINO may be the best we can expect in California.

Arnold's not really a conservative at all. It's California. In a statewide race in California, a conservative loses 70-30. It's not the same state, the same population, that elected Reagan. Pete Wilson, while not a true conservative, was not a rino either. And he won by a large margin 1994. What clinched his election was a hard line on immigration, support of prop. 187 to be exact. Unfortunately, idiot GOP strategists failed to grasp this fact and the CA GOP has been losing badly ever since.

I really want them to run Gray Davis and defend his record. I am already looking forward to their changing the subject and starting up their smear machine.

BTW, if CA is so far left, why were propositions 209, 187, and the one that abolished bilingual education (I forgot the number) passed by such an overwhelming margin?
