I saw the NASA guy on the tube yesterday. I have a question about the test.
The foam and the shuttle are both riding the same launch vehicle at the same speed.
When the foam came off, how far was it from the shuttle? Are they saying that a difference in the speed of both objects became over 500 mph within a distance of less than the total length of the rocket?
What was the speed of the vehicle after 82 seconds?
