Precisely. The word "know" in Genesis 19:5 is Hebrew "yada," which is used 943 times in the Old Testament. Does it mean "to have sex with?"Could that be the origin of the tag line: "yada, yada, yada"?

Makes ya feel good to see there are still some people who have guts and say what needs to be said.2 cents says the caller had the phone all the way down his throat.

I only catch Michael Savage's radio show when I'm driving in my car at night and so I usually don't catch much of a show.
I did hear an entertaining one when he was on a Friday night and was so disgusted with politics that he played old songs (or portions thereof) and remembered his older days.
Maybe he could reinvent himself as a radio DJ (not a morning host "shock jock"). Houston had a daily talk host (Alvin Van Black) who was confrontational and hung up on callers back in the 1980s. Then he morphed into the late night friendly "man about town" features host for the ABC affiliate's nightly 10PM news broadcast.

Savage is an ignorant stupid idiot, and gives conservatives a bad name. We should shun this monster.

The guy makes me afraid of New Yorkers! hahah Courage to run off at the mouth doesn't replace brains and tact. Anyone can sit on the radio and put people down all day. Pay me enough money and I'd probably do it. No talent here...no talent there.
To: sakic
I only listened to him once on radio. Once was enough. The guy is pond scum. Every sane conservative in America should be glad not to be saddled with this mean-spirited vulgarian.

I don't see him any different than he's been in years! He's said that (MSNBC) stuff on the radio before. It's not a meltdown. I don't see it as a meltdown, it's nothing he hasn't said before. Well, I tried to listen to him, and couldn't take but a couple of days. I think he's approaching clinical insanity.
If he regularly wishes death on his opponents, he really is a psycho.

This reads like a possible set-up I thought the same thing, too bad we can't hear what the caller said...may-be he deserved the outrage.

Thanks. I'll have to check out that version. Much different than mine, a lot of liberties taken in the interpretation. Well, if you had trouble understanding Shakespeare in school, you know WHY there are more modern language translations available.
Just don't pre-judge it before you check out it's origin. Remember that there is NO, final, authoritive Hebrew OR Greek bible texts. There is a vast CLOUD of them, with some being just slightly different from one another. The translators (even the KJV 'authorized' guys) had to choose from very many sources.

Let's all go back to the days when a bunch of good ole' boys could get together and go have a rip-rouring time beating some queers. When was this?
Of course some homosexuals liked "rough trade". Self-fulfilling prophecy.

Not good riddance. The caller used profanity and made vicious personal attacks on him - this is not mentioned in the article. MSNBC still has the right to fire him though.
To: FastEddy
Does it mean "to have sex with?" No, it means knowledge.
In the context of the surrounding story, it is quite OBVIOUS as to 'knowledge' of what is being described.

PTL!
Thanks for posting that.
The truth of that scripture really really wins the day. And that's what the homos hate the most.

I can't believe all the posters who keep saying he is not a conservative. Don't let his style get in the way. His mantra is Borders, Language and Culture. His 9 step program to fixing America is as follows:
1. End Affirmative Action (end racial discrimination)
2. Close the borders now (Stop illegal immigration)
3. Deport all illegal immigrants now
4. Eliminate Bilingual education in all states
5. Require health tests for all recent foreign born immigrants
6. Make tax cuts permanent (lower taxes)
7. Reduce the number of Federal Employees (smaller government)
8. Tort Reform - Stop class action lawyers
If these are his ideological beliefs then how is he not conservative? And for all of those who seem not to be interested in Mr. Savage I would like to point out that this thread has now gone on for MORE THAN 2 hours. maybe this is just the type of reaction he wanted!
To: sakic
No it isn't.
Savage is the kind of brutal, tough talking, take no prisoners, voice that we need on the air. His T.V. show was fantastic.
I loved listening to him give it to the sodomite-loving, hateful, leftist, filth.
Since when did conservatives become such p#@@$&s?! Where did all this whining, hand-wringing, "oh we don't want to sound vicious or mean" crap come from?
The reason the left has been successful is because of the loud, shrill, agit-prop tactics they've engaged in for years. The viciousness of the left has been their strength.
And conservatives sit around wringing their hands and wanting to always play the "nice guy" bit, as if anything we ever did could make the left "like us" or as if the nice-guy act will somehow get the left to engage in "reasoned debate" with us...help us to "convert them".
B.S.! The left only understands a kick in the proverbial nads. That's what they understand. Savage gives it to them, day in and day out.
Our side needs some g-d anger! We need some rage. We need some fire in the belly which is nearly nowhwere to be found on our side.
This nice-guy s--- is getting old. We desperately need the fire and rage that someone like Savage has.

You CAN 'change your mind' about the practices you are involved in. But they have to want to change.
Some of them find heterosexual monogamy "bor-ing".
Then again, some of them are very active in trying to conform to a meatless vegan diet because it's "the right thing to do" even if they are tempted by their desires for an omnivore's diet which includes meat, dairy, or even honey.
They have willpower, it's just what they choose to do with it.

Actually, he does. His show is now the #3 show in the country, beating out Dr. Laura and Howard Stern.
Someone else will pick up his show. He's too controversial not to be on T.V.
