Did anyone else here happen to hear Rush mention Free Republic around 1:20 PM Eastern time? I was taping his program, but the tape ran out just as he mentioned us. To the best of my ability, I'll try to remember how he led into it:
In the context of telling everyone to quit worrying about moveon.org, and the influence they have with people, he said that if you want to see what REAL influence is, just let Drudge turn his site over to activism and you will see "REAL influence".
He said that if he decided to have another "Dan's Bake Sale" type event --- you would also get to see "REAL influence".
Then he said, "Heck --- no way moveon.org can even match Free Republic" for REAL influence.

One sentence from Rush is pure gold.
Yep, I heard it. I thought he was going to say more, but it was just that one sentence.

I occasionally listen to another talk show host, before Rush comes on. His name slips my mind. He was for the Supreme court ruling on discriminating against gays. He made a sound argument for his opinion. Rush, then came on after his show and told why it was wrong and the harm it would bring to this country and traditional values.
No one can match Rush. He is gifted by God, just as he says. He is the Main Man for sure.

I wish we could dig up the picture Rush had on his web site of a typical freeper, kind of a cave-like creature. Someone with an in with El Rushbo should ask him for it. I tried in vain to find it again here at FR. Savage was saying this evening that moveon.org was just a communist front.

A Rush staffer is a freeper. I can't remember her screen name though. That topic came up about a year ago - wasn't that when he was revealing his hearing problems?

Rush calls himself a little fuzz ball too. Why not a common tater? Figure it out... COMMENTATOR. Give Floriduh Voter recognition for actually connecting the dots. Florida freepers RULE and WIN!

How about matchett-PI? Florida's the locale for his profile page. I didn't check out his bookmarks though. I take back my common tator idea. I'm outta here.

Rush woke us all up to what Reagan and Goldwater were trying to do.
