Did anyone else here happen to hear Rush mention Free Republic around 1:20 PM Eastern time? I was taping his program, but the tape ran out just as he mentioned us. To the best of my ability, I'll try to remember how he led into it:
In the context of telling everyone to quit worrying about moveon.org, and the influence they have with people, he said that if you want to see what REAL influence is, just let Drudge turn his site over to activism and you will see "REAL influence".
He said that if he decided to have another "Dan's Bake Sale" type event --- you would also get to see "REAL influence".
Then he said, "Heck --- no way moveon.org can even match Free Republic" for REAL influence.

I think what bugs me is they have 60,000 people sign up online and all of a sudden...it's something new! FR has been around for years!

I heard the comment also. Based on traffic, FR is currently 815 while moveon.org is 8,452.

Yes, I heard it too. I thought he was going to expand on it some more, but he didn't.
But again, we are recognized by the leader in talk radio.
I hope the servers can handle it. The last time I remember was the mention of the photoshop pics of him and tommie dasshole on the balcony ala Michael Jjackson. Almost (or did) crashed FR, we got so many hits.
