Could Frasier Crane be the new Archie Bunker?

Posted on 07/07/2003 7:26:22 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Carol O' Connor was a well known liberal. Carol collaborated with Norman Lear to create Archie Bunker. An irritable racist bigot Republican. Everything the liberals would love you to believe about Republicans.

We know better than to believe that lie. The liberal movement of the 60's and 70's is over folks. The movement that produced classics such as All in the Family and The Jeffersons is done with. The 60's and 70's also produced liberal musicians like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Tom Petty.

Liberals infected our society like a virus. The schools, the colleges, the songs on the radio. The TV sitcoms and the movies. Liberals such as Norman Lear attempted to define patriotism as slandering your country. Violence was now considered a reasonable course of action if someone stood in your way. Violent protests against the war were considered free speech.

No longer were liberals satisfied with being able to speak. Free Speech was then defined by liberals as total anarchism. The myth that you had to be heard was propagated on the American people. Hence in today's world you have Hollywood movie stars who file lawsuits when a director or producer doesn't want them in their film.

Today things have changed quite differently. The liberal children of the 60's and 70's have found their way into political offices all over the United States. By the time some the extreme negative effects of liberalism began to take its toll on the American people.

Kelsey Grammar now plays an elitist radio host with a hankoring for all things French. He loves artwork, and shows moments of emotion just like Archie. Frasier gets irritable about little things. Frasier cannot stand his Dads old chair right in the middle of his oh so perfect French decorated living room.

Frasiers neighbor Cam Winston draped a flag over the balcony and Frasier protested it to the building commitee. He boats about his degree from Harvard and dreads activities with his Father such as ice fishing. Naturally there is a sane side to all this. Frasiers father is a policemen and always ends up bringing the two liberal brothers back down to the ground.

High society is a must for Frasier and his brother who are always attempting to get into the coolest wine clubs, cooking clubs, safari clubs, and anything else they can get their hands on.

Kelsey Grammar was recently on Fox and Friends and when asked about liberal actors such as Ted Danson who he has had to work with he opined "You know, Ted is definetely on the other side on this one. There is nobody quite as intolerant as a liberal"

The liberal policies of Bill Clinton produced a Conservative movement like no other. Rush Limbaugh began the reviving of AM talk radio in the 80's. Now we have Conservative songs produced like Toby Keith's Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Darryl Worley's Have You Forgotten. Metallica and Ted Nugent now get book deals and more TV appearances.

The Internet and talk radio have helped show the truth to Americans. Conservative comedians are starting to pop up like Dennis Miller and Jay Leno. TV News which has been a liberal bastion for years and years now has Foxnews Channel. Which refuses to pander to the liberals.

Our movement is growing and over the next 10 years you are going to see this thing expand like you've never seen it before. Goodbye Frasier, we will miss you.

By the way I forgot two things I would like to add. Clinton created 911 with his terrible foreign policy. 911 then led to the swelling of true Patriotism in this country.

Also, I just happened to think of something else. Frasier and his brother are both Psychologists. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

A well written and well reasoned post!  I believe we are entering a Golden Age of Conservativism.  One that will likely last far longer than the last 3+ decades of liberalism since liberalism is based on lies, deception, and horribly unpopular ideas.

The liberal media is rapidly coming apart at the seams.  Next up, school choice and the holding of "higher academia" to account...

Is Frasier a Liberal or just a snob?

Yeah, yeah, I know, most Liberals are snobs, but not all snobs are liberals. I don't find many similarities between him and Archie or Jefferson.

Conservatives have always been the mainstream but we were too quiet. Now we're getting loud.

What about Metallica's stand on Jesus (he's "The God that Failed" because he was crucified and died) or their stand on war (Master of Puppets) or most anything from "...And Justice for All?" Metallica is not a "conservative" band.

I hope this "reform" starts with the schools and courts.

From what I've heard, Lear went absolutely nuts over the fact that the bulk of the viewing public sympathized with Archie and considered 'Meathead' to be an idiot.

Good post. I mentioned to my wife last week how much I enjoyed seeing the conservative Frazier make lefties look rediculous. The Bunker comparison escaped me. Thanks.

What about Metallica's stand on Jesus (he's "The God that Failed" because he was crucified and died)

You need to understand James Hetfield's strict "Christian Scientist" upbringing to understand his critiques of religion. I don't think he is criticising Jesus for being Crucified. He is criticising his family's insane religion, which refuses medical care for the sick, preferring prayer over the use of the minds that God gave us. The God of the Christian scientist does indeed "fail" constantly -- like when children who are prayed over for healing die for a lack of a simple antibiotic.

Not quite. Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde-Pierce play psychiatrists. Frasier and his brother are psychiatrists.

I think this is wishful thinking. Today if a person is pro 2nd ammendment and is tight with their's and the countries money we accept them as a conservative.
