Give this guy a medal- not a jail sentence! Or better yet (as this fellow who assaulted Walker-Lindh-Traitor sounds like a scumbag too), let them have a cage match to the death.

I would expect that as Walker Lindh fades into obscurity and away from the public eye, he can anticipate more such attacks. I am not encouraging this sort of thing. I just think it likely. That boy is bound to live the rest of his sentence in isolation, or he will get "whacked."

"The U.S. attorney's office said on Thursday that Morrison was serving a 63-month sentence for damaging religious property stemming from a fire he set at an African-American church in Nevada in 1996. If found guilty of assaulting Lindh, Morrison could face a further six months in prison."
Johnny Taliban Traitor chose to be a Taliban Traitor.

Even criminals can be patriotic.

What exactly did this assault consist of? I would bet there are thousands of American men who'd do six months for the opportunity to beat the snot out of this traitor.

Like to send a few bucks to the assailant... a little something to spend at the prison store... kind of a thank you.
It's a bad crime to contract for murder, but is it against the law to send money to a guy who killed someone you were happy to see whacked?
To: adamyoshida
Morrison had the guts to do what our "system" does not have the guts to do. Give Morrison a few months off, I say.

Local media reports said in March that the attack stemmed from prison rivalry between Muslims and white supremacistsNo doubt that Lindh (white) is hanging out with the black Muslims and nothing p-sses off the good ol boys more. You can look for this to happen to Lindh again and again.
To: gg188
from the article:
"The U.S. attorney's office said Richard Dale Morrison, 29, had been charged with one count of misdemeanor assault in an alleged hands and fist attack on Lindh at the prison in Victorville in March."
hands and fist attack--sounds like a fist fight or he slapped Tali-walker around some.

Maybe they'll make a movie about it. Johnny Walker can be portrayed as a victim, a peace loving convert to Islam who's in jail due to the war mongering policies of the Bush regime. /Hollywood screen writer spew

I think the "six months" is quite telling. What I am seeing is that the assailant is maybe going to get a "rap on the wrist" and that admin is secretly happy Johnny got pounded.
In other words, "the fix is in".
Not that I approve of people who torch churches, either!

Could we legally start up a fund for the defense of the killing of John Walker Lindh in advance of his death? Or would that be considered solicitation of murder?
To: adamyoshida
At least maybe we could take up money to insure that Lindh is someones 'special friend" at night, every night while in prison. Should only cost a few cartons of smokes.
That would be sweet justice.

A good idea. We could start up a group called "Friends of John Walker Lindh" and take up collections for everyone willing to be his 'special friend' every night for the next thirty years.
