It really ticks the rats off that they haven't had a president in 40 years who could do something like this without looking like a jackass.

This flight suit MUST be put in the future George W. Bush library! (It would also qualify for the Smithsonian since no other President in history has landed on an aircraft carrier! Notice that his name tag reads Commander in Chief!

And they give Bush crap about drinking 20 years or so years ago. At least he gave it up! Let`s compare...That Clinton picture got all the demonrat trademarks, the distended belly with the thin arms indicating alcoholism, the red nose again indicating alcoholism (oh no, excuse me, they now call it "rosea") By the way, was this guys nose ever NOT red? I don`t know if anyone ever remembers this, but do you remember about five, six years ago one of Carly Simons "assistants" went to an airport up in Marthas vineyard and picked up a delivery of coke (2 pounds I think it was)and he got busted, and Carly said "I will help him in anyway I can in legal help" (why? Did she feel guilty?)But anyway, the next day, who should show up at Carlys? That`s right, Bubba himself! Why?

I'm glad you posted this tonight. I'm still steaming at Wesley Clark's comments a few mintues ago. He was being interviewed on Hannity & Colmes. Colmes just asked him what he thought about President Bush wearing the flight jacket and he said it was disrespectful to the men and women who really wear the jacket. A triple barfer.

I posted this poem the day he landed on the Abraham Lincoln. Will post it again for those that missed it.

      HONOR AT SEA

Today, a day in history
our leader took to air
the President of our country
like none before would dare

To welcome home returning troops
upon the deck he slam
with military honors on
the bosom of Abraham

Our troops swarmed all around him
like sailors drunk on grog
the great ships captain wrote with pride
into the Lincolns log:

"Today our ship was honored
all men will mark this day
when our beloved President
on this first day of May

landed on our flight deck
where heroes come and go
to thank us for our service
and let the world know

what freedom means to Americans
what bloodshed and what tears
and what he said to us today
we will honor through the years

though great men, rare, do come and go
as fate would us allow
we thank the Lord above for this
great man who leads us now."
