chenney's daughter is a homosexual.

The proposed federal marriage ammendment:

"Marriage in the United States shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman."

"Neither this Constitution or the constitution of any state, nor state or federal law, shall be construed to require that marital status or the legal incidents thereof be conferred upon unmarried couples or groups."

>>>>But then, some think the universe of this world has to be a nest for ever, that we are never to leave this nest, that simply being in a nest should be the end in itself, and since we are going to sit in this nest forever together, then it’s all about valuing diversity of others, because, you know, we are all stuck in this nest. This is called (modern) liberalism – it’s always totalitarian in the end, e.g. international socialism (Communism) and/or National Socialism (NAZI) et all, e.g. Ted “it’s a beanie Party Boat” Kennedy, Hillary “I was shocked, but who else can make me laugh like Bill?” Clinton, etc..

Yes, that is the EU.

>>>>Under this liberalism, the nest is government. No matter how many are in the nest, and told they cannot leave, the nest itself is just a few, . . . like President Bush's drugs for seniors, for example

No, that is Pres. Bush trying to fix a model that is already in place.

>>>>I think it’s time for non-cooperation. The states, the people, should simply not cooperate anymore. I mean, what difference would it make simply going along with this crap, and this Bush applauding it and all?

Ya think? So...since we aren't already cooperating...and the border states aren't following border security memos...we should blame the power given to the states already on Bush...and give the corrupted states more power, right?

Let's empower more corrupt local govs...that is what gave us Clinton anyway.

Pres. Bush is in an interesting position. He was given power with corrupt politicians. Rules don't change overnight with a memo. States have been empowered already. There is a LARGE clean up that has to occur.

So, why don't you try being part of the solution, rather than, a propaganding problem?

ciao for now. Off for the night.

I’ve even noticed they are starting to take to wearing check-pants so they can join the check-pants country club Republicans)

Utter rubbish.

but there is a big rumble starting to happen, discontent among real conservatives considering what just happened in the last few days, and they are starting to say:

From the commentary today on "Realclearpolitics.com" --

Despite the disagreements many of the narrowly-focused constituencies on the right have with President Bush, there seems to be an overall appreciation of his character, integrity, and his unwavering commitment to U.S. national security. There also seems to be an understanding that Bush, like Reagan, is helping to facilitate a continued shift toward conservatism in U.S. public opinion.

Today, many conservatives say, American public opinion is shifting their way, so there is no reason to be impatient — or to pressure Mr. Bush into doing things before the election that might hurt him next year.

"The Republicans are looking at decades of dominance in the House and the Senate, and having the presidency with some regularity," Mr. Norquist said. "So if this year the tax cut isn't the one we wanted — no biggie. There's a sense that we can afford to wait."

This tolerance of Bush only runs so deep, of course, and if the economy doesn't enjoy a robust recovery the President can't afford to have conservative groups sitting on their hands next November.

Meanwhile, the upside for conservative groups in the coming election is bigger than ever: if the economy does spring back to life and conservatives come out en masse for the President, it could produce a landslide victory and an historic mandate for Bush and his conservative agenda.

If I were a DUmmy, I'd sure enjoy the hysteria evident here on FR.

Count me in as one of the (few) here that doesn't consider this as the end, or the beginning of the end, of the world. I dont see the nighmares coming true. Things are gonna be alright, more or less..

Because, the way things are going, it will get a lot worse, very fast. The universe started as a nest, but a nest for only the beginning spring chickens, and then things get pretty individualist and dangerous as we fly out from the nest – the universe in this sense much more than just the physical universe but also history in motion.

Nest????

Hey Jim, who should we vote for in 2004? Anybody wearing the Big "R" label. We did that in 2002 and look where it got us.

Don't know where you get your imagination but this would sell for fiction right along with Hillary's novel.

Whatever your anti-Bush agenda, it will not work! Articles like this just make a lot of us work even harder to see President Bush gets four more years.

Suppose you would prefer Hillary and then you all can really whine about how bad it is and how you taught us all a lesson. That delusional attitude by some of here makes me sick to think that you would support electing a RAT to teach the rest of us a lesson so your 3rd Party person could have a shot which will never happen.

Doesn't make any difference what 3rd party candidate you support, they are drawing votes away from legitimate candidates and are only there as spoilers and it makes them feel like big shots to take our tax dollars as matching funds!

Your article is pathetic at best!

I believe Frist is the only Republican I have heard a comment out of about the decision. Bush has been wisely silent on the issue.

You've completely missed the point. Our President doesn't make Supreme Court decisions. I for one am grateful for the many things he's done right. I cannot imagine a better person to be where he is right now. How quickly people forget or dismiss the enormous challenges he has overcome and done it with class, dignity, reverence and humility.
I'm grateful the sun came up today and i believe he is too.

Best regards,
Liberty
