When the gay pride parade is over, do the cross-dressers stop cross dressing, do the transvestites stop transvestiting, do the S&M people put away their whips and chains, does NAMBLA stop preying on young boys, is sex with strangers exchanged for a responsible lifestyle, or does all this continue 365 days a year?

If we accept your claim that 10% of the population is gay, then there is no way that that statement is true. Most sane heterosexuals find anal sex repellant. Those that do practice it do not engage in it to the point of exclusivity as homosexuals do. Don't try to drag us down in the toilet with you.

Don't you know the statutory definitions of sodomy? You think sodomy is only sex between two men!?!?!? Haven't you done ANY research to learn what this issue is about? If it was only sex between men, why did the majority of states' laws invalidated by Lawrence include BOTH heteros and gays!?!?

Don't take that tone with me cupcake. I was responding to your specific claim that far more heterosexual couples engage in anal sex. Even when accounting for the larger number of heterosexual couples there is far more gay buttsex going on. And it is rarely monogamous. You people spread disease.

But if you really want gays to "settle down" into a "responsbile" lifestyle, help them achieve marriage rights so they can settle down. Of course, there is a risk that married gays will catch up to the level of adultery and divorce presently achieved only by heteros.

As more than half of marriages in this country end in divorce, the idea that gay marriage will make homosexuals settle down is gay fantasy. As a group, homosexual men are by far the most prolific. By far.

Like a good little homosexual, you fixated on the potentially sexual aspects of my question and did not answer the more important: "How do you define marriage?" I am not interested in marrying my dog, because that action would be irrelevant. Just like the union of two men. No matter how hard you wish for it gay marriage can never equal natural human marriage.

I predict nothing. I simply think its silly to accord legal status to couplings of folks who's sole common characteristic is an abnormal and extremely unhealthy sexual practice.

This is not to say I don't wish them well - meaning an eventual escape from their silly, tragic "lifestyle".

Low frequency sound can induce vomitting but, since the wavelength is so long, hearing protection is pretty much useless.
