Howdy Texas Freepers. I can't find where anyone posted a thread about our luncheon today in San Antoniom so thought I would in case any of you wished to post pictures. For those that didn't make it, we had a great turnout. Those in attendance were Jim Robinson, Mrs., and Chris, plus Jim's brother, Ms. AntiFeminazi, Slyfox,SWake,PetroniDE, RikaStrom, Guido, Hocndoc & Mr. Hocndoc,TXBubba, Blastus and their two children, Tall Texan, IVote2 & Mr. IVote2, Mil-Vet & Mrs. Mil-Vet, RimTop 56, Sockmonkey, TxGrandMom, Ravingnutter, BenR2,TheSarce and Gracey.
Now that's pretty good for an afternoon turnout in Texas, considering people came from Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth, Austin, Canyon Lake, Kerrville, New Braunfels and many locals from San Antonio area.
The food was wonderful, the company was magnificent and it was just plain GREAT spending time with our favorite freeper Jim Robinson.

See, TRG Texas is out doing us! We need a BBQ at your house, I will bring left over beer and wine!

I enjoyed the company, the food (too much), and finally meeting you all.
It was a special privilege to get to thank Mr. Robinson for saving us all from having no outlet for our frustrations and ambitions the last 6 years or so. No one else could have given us the organization and focus (we know because others have tried!).
(Thank you Gracey, MAF, and Guido. And welcome to the Texans from all over. Y'all come back!)

reparte? Isn't that when you party all over again? Hey, let's do it. Now who's game to have a repeat performance? Would love to have a FReeper get together for ALL Texans. Perhaps we can meet in a central location at some type function? How about the Bush Presidential Library for a FReeper day?

IVote2, check out post #31. And while you're at it read the whole thread...lol. Yes, it was so nice to finally meet you IVote2. However, I regret that we didn't get the chance to chat with you and your hubby. Thanks for coming and hope we have a "reparte" so we can get to chat some more. Hope you can come to one of our Austin HOT freeper events.
And thanks Guido, for recommending this beautiful new restaurant. The food was certainly the best and so was the atmosphere. The circular table worked out nicely... just that we didn't expect so many people. I still can't believe that we had a turnout of 28 + 2.
Thanks again, Guido Hugs

I enjoyed listening to your stories more than just about anything I have heard at any FReep and/or meet... Ditto those comments. Yes, we MUST have a "reparte" with you and your wife present. I found you both to be very fine, interesting FReepers. And... Thanks for serving our country. :-)

Thanks for the Pics. Three's better than none and they show a bit of that beautiful new restaurant. It's probably the GRANDEST restaurant I've been in, sans Las Vegas.

Thank you for posting the picture of me with a beer in each hand. Oh, the embarrassment of it all.

I'm in San Antonio and this is where I plan to remain. Now that I'm not active duty I plan to be active in politics; drop me a note next time something is going down here in south Texas.

I'm a tad frustrated that my rotten hearing kept me from picking up much from folks any farther awayI've had that same problem since my 30's, mil-vet. Sadly, it keeps me from participating in many things. Glad you went!
