IF YOU PLAN not to read this summer, "Living History" is just the book. I'vealways said it takes a satirist to unveil the truth! The best review of this opus I've read. You should have seen the mental gymnastics the local reviewer here had to go through to stay true to his political sympathies when he knew well this was total crap.

At present there are 62 'used' copies of Hitlery's tome (many unread) on amazon.com for as little as $10.75And only three used copies of "A History of Western Music Theory" for $157.00 (list new $160).

I thought it was Bronco paper, or some such. Is it on rolls, now?

Having skimmed over half of a chapter at the bookstore...I thought it was uneventfully dull...a normal reader would have lost interest by the 3rd chapter. Perhaps that explains the 62 'used copies' (many unread) on Amazon.com. Ebay has a bunch for sale as well.

Perhaps the best line --- "...mega-weenie water carriers,..."

No, this is the best line that cuts to the bone:
"the rise of Clinton-style über-mediocrity--with its soaring commonplaces, its pumped trifling, its platinum-grade triviality."

Bless his heart. He really did read it!

I don't even know what Bronco paper is but I was just cracking wise anyways.
Heh, heh. Cracking.

Nausea, however, is interesting compared with the actual symptoms of going-through-the-motions sickness induced by "Living History."HEH!

This is just fantastic! I had to get out the dictionary a couple of times, but it was worth it! Greatest critique on Hillary's lies I have read thus far. The author points out just how egotistical the woman is, even worse than I expected. She is also glaringly out of touch with reality. I now feel even more justified in my outright dislike of this creature, she is not a real person just as I suspected.

He didn't say, neither did he say how many of Ann's book had been in the first order that was sold out. All but one of Hillarys books were behind the cash register. Possibly to save them from having nasty things pressed between the pages by the VRWC.

"Whitewater never seemed real because it wasn't."Errrrrr.....Sir Hillary, didn't you and your husband itemize your Whitewater losses on your tax returns?

It was a dark and stormy night (or maybe a dorky night), suddenly a shot rang out! Hillary! had saved the trees! It was where she belonged. A baby sparrow flew from it's nest and landed on her shoulder. She sighed and the rest of her friends saw the deer in the clearing. Could it be Bambi returning from his jaunt with Thumper? If only she could have hopped with them.
Boy this book sounds better and better all the time.

HAS "LIVING HISTORY" been dumbed down for its intended reader? Without a doubt. I met a few hundred of her fan base tonight in Century City. Whoooo boy, in the face of idiocy I retaliated by shooting back with "tan, rested, and ready, Nixon in 2008". Folks, I don't think they realize that Nixon resigned and has now passed away. Unreal. Keep an eye out for the official FReep report...

Priceless, classic O'Rourke!
"I was raised to love my God and my country, to help others, to protect and defend the democratic ideals that have inspired and guided free people for more than 200 years," a slap in the face to those of us who were raised to say please and thank you and not track mud into the house. Little wonder that when Hillary meets Queen Elizabeth, "She reminded me of my own mother."
LOL!
