I'm sorry. The free-spending federal government spent all my disposable income on things I didn't support.

The link also takes you a site where you can sign up to receive information from Bush-Cheney '04 -- that doesn't require one dime of your money!
Guess you will be returning the extra money from the tax cut as well! That was also part of this session of Congress.

I'd love to see the following fund-raising letter from Dick Cheney....
Dear fellow Republican...
You're probably expecting this to be another request for contributions to help ensure a great GOP victory next year in the race for the WH and the Congress....but the truth is, we're really doing OK in the money department. We'll meet our goals, probably exceed them. But if you want to send us more, that's OK, too...we'll put if to good use.
But that's NOT why I'm writing. In light of the recent Supreme Court decision on affirmative action, I've decided thagt it applies to political candidates also. Minority candidates need a little extra help. Accordingly, I've decided that all good Republicans should award Al Sharpton an extra 20 points, er $20, on his application to get into the White House. So please send hm a check for $20 today. Believe me, he'll put it to good use, and we in the republican party can just sit back and watch the fruits of affirmative action multiply...

I'd like to hear what they have to say about the supreme court striking down the Texas law against sodomy first.
To: NittanyLion
I know. Can't have Grandma spending her French Riviera vacation money on fungal cream.
Don't worry, I'll pay for that medicine, grandma. Look the Concord's at the gate! Don't forget your jewels. Enjoy your trip.

(Sorry PhiKapMom, don't mean to get all negative on your thread. But hey! A bump's a bump! 8-)

$24 sent, the first money I've sent in a long time. Everytime they call me and ask for more donations, I've told them when they force the democrats hand in judicial nominations, then I'll send them more money, not until then. I decided to send this donation to make the June 30th cut off, to add to the FReeper profile in donations, and in appreciation for the judiciary committee approving the resolution to change the senate rules regarding fillibusters on judicial nominees. I won't send any more until the 'pull the trigger' and Free Miguel!!
To: Bush_Democrat
Couldn't agree more with your stand! Time for the Senators to get off the dime and figure a way to "Free Miguel" and seat him on the bench!
Thanks for sending!

I wanted to share this with my FReeper friends. My husband received this note with his paycheck stub today. I loved it!
Due to changes in the income tax withholding law - Mr. Bushs new tax bill - your take home pay has been increased.
It made a $15.00 difference!

No kidding. The gov't never has given me anything (never asked) except larger "invoices" for more of my heard-earned money. Right now. Today. Because of this latest monster socialist give-away program in the form of "free drugs" I say Cheney and company can stuff it.
Yea, that's what I said. Me, one of the biggest "W" cheerleaders around. Read my lips: "Right now, Cheney can stuff it!"

"It has been an honor to serve this great nation and this great President. I have been privileged to see George W. Bush -- our President -- as few others have. I have watched him face difficult situations almost daily with a calm inner strength, a steely resolve, and a clarity of purpose.
Our nation needs George W. Bush as President for four more years."
I couldn't agree more!!! My husband, sisters and I wrote several LARGE checks to the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign fund this past Wednesday -- we met Laura Bush in the process (what a WONDERFUL lady)!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Before you jump off the deep end, I recommend that you actually read the legislation proposed by both the Senate and the House (yesterday, Rush grudgingly admitted that he didn't even realize that any proposed changes would be voluntary).
Bottomline for me: Incredibly bright/principled/CONSERVATIVE friends of mine in the healthcare field have told me that they support the President's approach -- that's all I need to know! [That and the fact that I TRUST this President AND VP Cheney to make the right decisions relative to these issues! FYI: The President and VP Cheney indicated that they were going to pursue these changes during the 2000 campaign! They keep their promises!]

Met her years ago in Texas for the first time and was duly impressed then. My respect for her has only grown since that time.
Thanks for all that you are doing to help the reelection! Great to hear -- thanks for posting!
It is such a great feeling to support someone that we believe in. I had a hard time in 1996 dragging myself to the polls to vote. In 2000, I proudly cast my vote for President Bush! Now I am ready to go vote today for another Four Years for Bush-Cheney!

Do you know what the Medicare overhaul actually says?
Don't pay attention to what Rush is saying -- better listen to Tom DeLay instead. It is a voluntary program with a choice for seniors including if they want to pay for prescription benefits or not unless they are 150% of poverty or below.
People are jumping off the deep end because of Rush's comments -- go read the bill and you will find it is not socialized medicine -- far from it. In fact, it is the first step in privatizing Medicare IMHO!
