WASHINGTON (CNN) -- In Friday morning raids, the FBI arrested at least seven men suspected of having ties to a foreign terrorist organization, government sources told CNN.
The men are believed to be linked to Lashkar-E-Taiba, a Kashmir separatist group that the United States designated a terrorist organization in 2001.

Last time I saw them here was over Eric Rudolph; I thought this had turned into an ACLU board or something.

Too bad they don't try to run, because now we'll have to coddle them for years to tribunal. Good news, in any event.

BOB ABERNETHY, anchor: Coming up, in the aftermath of the Egypt Air disaster, how Muslims deal with death and mourning.
Also, on the 50th anniversary of the National Council of Churches, the organization searches for its identity and its future.
And what's required of a Catholic university to remain true to its origins?" ...
"BOB ABERNETHY: The U.S. Catholic Bishops are accusing Israel of bowing to what they call extremist demands by Muslims. Israel had agreed to the construction of a mosque in Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew up. There've been ongoing conflicts between Muslims and Christians over a plot of land adjacent to the Church of the Annunciation. Muslims want to build a mosque there, and Christians want to build a tourist plaza for millennium pilgrims. The bishops urged President Clinton to oppose the mosque during the Middle East peace summit in Oslo this past week. A White House spokesman told us Mr. Clinton did not raise the issue, but declined to elaborate.
BOB ABERNETHY: This week, as their families mourned the loss of all 217 people aboard Egypt Air Flight 990, there were special prayer services in many countries. Some of the dead were Christians and Jews; most were Muslims.
We visited Dar al-Hijrah Mosque, the largest in the Washington, DC, area, to talk with some of the worshippers there about Muslim beliefs on death and mourning.
Mr. SHAKER ELSAYED: Islam is one of those religions that believe that this life is something like a bridge to the hereafter. In the hereafter, Muslims are told, they will meet God; they will be with the prophets; they will be with the good people, if they live up to their religion.
Mr. CALIPH BASHA: And if you are a good person and you've done some good deeds, we believe that when you die, hopefully, you have a good chance of making it to paradise. But when -- on the flip side of that, you know, if you're not -- if you don't do righteous deeds or if you're a bad person, then when you die, I mean, you're like, we -- you know -- you're going to hell."
